Eh the Josh hate is so 2017, no one bothered to complain about Garrett Kidney for taking shots at WWE(even though he did a great job with Impact social media during his short time with the company).
Back on topic, for Impact, a tv deal at the level of Pop TV should be massive improvement, there is also El Rey Network with LU pretty much dead.

Josh Matthews has benefited no end from the current impact management reigning him in. His commentary alongside Don Callis is tolerable, he hasn't gotten into internet slapfights for a good long while and for the most part, he's just done his job, so kudos to them.
Yes, he's still probably a douche, but the same can be said for most people in wrestling. If you're not one going in, you will become one before too long.

What's the best kinda mid-sized us network out there for them?

Impact have been solid for a good long while now, they're living within their means as best they can, running venues they can fill, working with their partner promotions rather than trying to undermine them and generally not being horrible, by wrestling standards. It's the first time in a long time I can say they deserve some reward for it.

Anthem's owner seems to back the company and are close to selling out Slammiversary. Getting a better American tv deal will only help.

But what about.......(insert person) doesn't negate Josh being a massive shithead and doing more harm than good during that timeframe

Callis and the boys keep him busy Basically in a position where he can be neither seen nor head, just basically supervising a lot of things which is good because he isn't personally handling it. Good for Impact continuing to stay alive. As I said before the product is better but a bit on the boring side however, they have a talented group and more importantly when people step out of line (Drake, ADR) they cut them loose

What's the best kinda mid-sized us network out there for them? I’d say the best bets would be either CMT or WGN America. Possibly Great American Country (which is now owned by Discovery) as well, if that bridge hasn’t been too incinerated. (That’s assuming networks owned by Fox, Comcast or AT&T/WarnerMedia are off the table.) Of course, it’s possible some other network could come out of left field.

Dark Horse: Discovery Family (no MLP jokes), again, they'd have to deal with Discovery, but it would benefit the network (outside of MLP, they have NO first-run material) and being on a channel that's in the "family" tier could help them get a younger fanbase (Outside of the Rascals gimmick which can be retooled, there's really nothing on there that's TV14 material, at least not the current Impact).

Dark Horse: Discovery Family (no MLP jokes) 1) I see what you did there. 2) Definitely would be out of left field, but might be fine. Just don’t hire Paul Heyman to write promos. 😁

I was just thinking about this deal, if said network put Impact on Thursdays, we could have wrestling 5 days a week: Monday: Raw Tuesday: AEW (if the rumors are true) Wednesday: NXT Thursday: Impact Friday: Smackdown Of course, that may or may not be a good thing, depending on your point of view

Man if TNA (and ROH for that matter) can level back up and get in on the groundswell of competition this could be something special with so many companies.

So you got six days a week with at least one show. Add in NJPW on Fridays,WOW on Fridays. Hell I bet somewhere ROH airs on Sundays.

I hope they get a good deal. They've been putting on great TV for the last year and deserve a better showcase. They're on a decent channel here in the UK but the timed lot is a bit shit. If I am not mistaken TNA at one point was rather popular in the UK correct?

If I am not mistaken TNA at one point was rather popular in the UK correct? Yes and would do big business when they toured over here. I wasn't a fan at the time but a mate of mine went to a couple of TNA UK shows and said they were brilliant with great crowds. It must still do fairly decent numbers on TV here for it to still be on, rubbish slot or not.
