That's a hell of a drop for rumble 92 which had Hogan.

You might be able to put the blame on Tuesday in Texas for that Rumble drop, I’m guessing adding a PPV in between will have cut into people. You have to remember when they added IYH they were sold much cheaper and therefore people may have bought them. In 1991, you buy SS, then intrigued enough to buy TIT, then after Christmas you’re too broke to buy RR

Aside from Bret/Bulldog at least Undertaker had a very cool entrance. Warrior vs Savage was really weird

Maybe it's just because I'm a completist at heart, but I wish the Network version of the show included the 3 matches that aired on Prime Time.

They were included on the UK's VHS release of the show (as well as Crush/Repo, which wasn't shown on the UK TV version). I'm curious as to why Tatanka/Berzerker was turned into a dark match since it was the only one of those matches that was hyped and intended to air.

Since Tatanka vs Berzerker was towards the end of the show rather the beginning I guess it was just time constraints. You can look at the 6 man and Tito/Shango as pre show/dark matches that later aired, but the placing of Tatanka/Berzerker indicates it was supposed to air but something needed cutting
I believe Crush/Repo was cut from the UK version to give time to air the Sky Sports center (?) update that they used to do at a specific time

Yeah, you think somebody would’ve smartened up Davey on how to pronounce Summerslam properly.

I did a thread about this years ago amazing how people think the same I would’ve preferred Taker vs Berzerker in a Viking funeral match at Summerslam 1992

EPILOGUE/ADDENDUM: I'm watching all the November 1992 Superstars in order, and now that I'm on Saturday Night's Main Event from that November, a lot of these resumed/were resolved on the road to Survivor Series:
Randy Savage vs Ric Flair Big Boss Man vs Nailz Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels Tatanka vs Rick Martel - These all had matches at Survivor Series
Repo Man vs British Bulldog - This had a blowoff in a Bulldog title defense on Superstars
Legion of Doom vs Beverly Brothers Papa Shango vs Ultimate Warrior Berzerker vs Undertaker - These were blown off on the Coliseum Video "Rampage '92," which was, comparatively speaking, a highly promoted Coliseum release on "Superstars." Taped from events that June, it at least gave some semblance of closure when these feuds weren't revisited in the months following Summerslam and LOD/Warrior's departure.
The Mountie vs Sgt Slaughter - Slaughter was taken out by Nailz and became an on-screen enforcer/proto-commissioner around the same time Mountie left the company before they could interact in this new dynamic.
Nasty Boys vs High Energy - Nastys turned face

What would Warrior, the arguably most popular babyface in the promotion, have done as a heel? He could do something totally out of character like go on rants about certain lifestyle choices, or maybe who he believed deserved to get sick or die at the time, but that's crazy talk. He could also laugh about a Suicide victim taking his own life. There is lots of heelish things this nice guy could've done 🤓

Maybe nostalgia speaking, but I love the show from top to bottom. Even the opening with the six man tag I enjoy as it's just a goofy match that helps get the crowd set up for what's to come.
