So Cam is only guaranteed 550K of his $1.05M base salary. His deal maxes out with bonuses and incentives to $7.5M
I would guess there has to be some easy incentives in there to get him $2-3 mill
No wonder Bill signed him. I would too as $7.5 mill was cheap for Cam anyway but the fact that's his max he can make, it could be a steal as Cam needs this to work to still be a starter

The Sentinels have rich history. The 2000 team triumphed to playoffs with a team of replacement players led by Shane "Two Steps" Falco

Daniel Snyder is such an idiot. Rebranding the team with something more appealing immeditally makes the team a hell of a lot more money in merchandise
As far as Newton. He probably could have made a couple million more elsewhere but he's playing for his next contract. Suppose he's successful this year in New England, he's going to be overpaid next year by somebody.

Another thing is that the city of Washington DC is banning the team from setting up shop within the city limits. Snyder's had his eye on whatever replaces RFK Stadium once it gets knocked down, but the Mayor of DC isn't letting it happen without a name change.
If Snyder's going to be this much of an idiot about changing the name where the franchise starts bleeding money because of it, Goodell and the other NFL franchise owners gotta step in and change it for him. Or force a sale of the team.

Daniel Snyder already owns the Washington Warriors trademark for when he was teasing getting an Arena Football team in the DC area before the first AFL bankruptcy issue.
Changing it to that will take the least amount of money and will easily be the quickest fix for the season with that old arrow helmet coming back as the new Washington helmet.

Patriots take a low risk flyer on a guy who when healthy, is a dynamic player. Cam gets a shot to prove he can still start and if he can perform and be anything close to what he was, he walks into the off season primed to get a decent payday

It'll never happen. Dan Snyder will force the name to stay as long as he owns the team. I've always believed the same but now with the way things are in America right now and the changes we are seeing i think its an 80% chance it will be changed. Because Nike, Fed Ex won't let up on this. Of course the main factor is he'll start losing money of he doesn't change it. I've been a Redskins fan all my life and I'm Native American. The name doesn't offend me but I can see it would offend others. If we do change it I want us to be called "Washington Warriors" Bring back the spear helmets. Or just be called Washington and not bother with another name.

You know how you know that delfategate was a farce? The league collected PSI DATA all throughout 2015 and when this was done, we were all told the results would be released for full transparency That never happened. The NFL has more leaks than the Titanic. If those numbers proved the Patriots absolutely cheated, we would have had them the very second it was known. Instead, the data was destroyed. Nope, nothing to see here. I read the initial report. As a Colts fan, you might or might not like my take. What is my take? Quite simply, some balls were probably deliberately under inflated but most were probably inflated to the minimum allowed amount and shrunk in the cold. I donβt even think Brady wanted it done as, if anything, it was more likely done to reduce the odds of the Patriots fumbling the ball. Under inflating the ball probably made Bradyβs job harder. In other words, I think Brady should have been punished for going along with it.....for 2 games (1 for going along with it and 1 for destroying evidence). Brady was overpunished and Belichick was significantly underpunished.

I hope they donβt move back into DC. The location now is easily accessible with barely any traffic after games.

What if Snyder buys the branding of the XFL's DC Defenders? They might get a free Cardale Jones and the Beer Snake along the way.

They should call themselves the DC Heroes and have all their uniforms based off Superman/Batman.

Washington Hogs would be cool. Would be a nice gesture to the fans.
But this is Dan Snyder so that won't happen.

Brady was overpunished and Belichick was significantly underpunished. The Pats inflated the balls to the minimum or just above the minimum, and the balls naturally deflated. When the NFL got the data that proved what the Patriots were saying, they buried it. They buried it with a shovel, and buried the shovel.
