Let me put it this way. If more of his matches were like the Balor one, I would be psyched to see Brock every time he shows up.
As it is, he's still overall one of the best monster heels in wrestling history, and one of the most protected characters, but stuff like the Ambrose match or the shitty Roman feud (their first match was good, and it should have been their last) made me wary of him being around.

Brock is one of my top ten favorites.
To call him under-appreciated and underrated is nonsense.
That said, Paul is kayfabing it up.

No one has matches like him, thank god. I'm honestly surprised there isn't some well-known indie dude whose whole schtick is that he's short and emaciated, but does the Brock "Suplex City, Bitch" gimmick anyway. To be honest Millie McKenzie isn't far off.

People do tend to underrate people who are little fun to watch and often feel like they're going through the motions... Funny that.
Brock is like Orton, they can do better, they choose not to do so and that's on them. People aren't going to rate you if what you show them 90% of the time is mediocrity.

Brock's boss, he's awesome. But this is also just Paul E blowing smoke up our asses. Fans generally know how good he is.
I don't blame him at all for WWE's shitty booking. It's also not his fault he gamed the system, got the cushiest contact imaginable, and gets paid big for little work. He's living the dream. Plus the guy has had awesome matches when he's on, he's not exactly Kevin Nash-ing it.

Brock uses maybe 5 different moves per match (punches, clotheslines, German suplex, belly to belly suplex, F5) yet has put on some amazingly entertaining matches (Balor, Bryan, Styles, Goldberg) in the last 3 years.
He shouldn't be champion any more but he's still way above the "Brock sucks, get rid of him" line of thinking.

He's...not wrong. Brock Lesnar is a one in the lifetime talent, there's a reason why WWE pushed him to the moon once he first debuted in 2002. His size, speed, agility, strength, all in one freakishly good athlete. He ven could do a shooting star press. If his mic work was better than it is and he didn't lose his passion for the business in 2004, he might have been top 5 of all time. Yes, he's that good. If he didn't leave when he did in 2004, he might have gone down as one of the greatest of all time. But, the thing is I think his UFC run solidified him as more of a badass than he was before, legitimizing him as a man who not only looks like a modern day Viking, but someone who can win in a legitimate fight.
I think him leaving was probably a blessing in disguise, and adds to his aura and was the reason he's booked as unstoppable juggernaut, because he really is one. Still though, whether he left or stayed, he's still a once in the lifetime athlete and there's really hasn't been one like him before or since.

If you don't want him to be underrated, maybe get him to cut a promo once in a while, maybe get him to put some damn effort into more than the occasional match. People have mentioned some of the good matches he's had since suplex city started but really, they were matches where he was willing to do something other than suplex city. More of his matches since suplex city started have been stinkers and lackluster. For a long time his best matches were multi-man matches where he spent 90% of the match taking a nap outside while everyone else did the work, then slipped in and reaped the rewards.
The guy is a tremendous athlete but they went wrong putting the belts on him for so long. They should have gone the Andre the Giant route. He never had belts because then they had to figure out how the hell to get it off him. Heck when he finally got it, they used shenanigans to get it off him. Can you imagine if Andre had been WWF champion while they were trying to get Hulkamania going and he kept owning Hogan?
Clearly Heyman is working us here but damn, dial it back a bit dude.
Hell Brock has shown more character the past couple weeks than he had the past couple years.

Brock does what he’s told. You tell him to go out and have a brutal 30 minute war, he does it. You tell him to go suplex a dude for 10 minutes, he does it.
He WILL have a good match if that’s what the guy signing the check tells him. Whatever problems I have with Lesnar the character, very few are on Lesnar the performer.

He has been shown to have influence over what happens in his matches given how he nixed all of ambrose's ideas in the lead up to wrestlemania. He might generally be willing to do what he's told but he always has influence. Enough influence that this is just as much on him.

Brock would have been a perfect guy to be a special attraction back in the territories. Like Andre, or Brody he could show up unexpectedly, work a program and move on before his act gets stale.

The guy signing the check apparently doesn't mind paying millions of dollars to a guy that wrestles about a half dozen times a year. Shows up even less on tv. Takes one of the top belts home with him for months at a time. And has no issue with him saying he's going to do little to no work when he does show up. I just don't understand how, if you're the boss, and are paying an employee an absurd amount of money, why can't you get him to do anything besides bounce around, throw a suplex, and hit a finisher? Tell Brock to start showing up to work, and actually make him work. If he says no, tell him to f*** off back to the UFC, where he can resume catching ass whoopings. Just because Vince apparently jerks off to Brock matches, he allows Brock to hold the company hostage. Why can't they just find another meathead to push the way they did Brock? I'm sure there's younger guys out there with similar backgrounds to Lesnar, who would love to make a living pretending to fight.

What is this post implying exactly? Besides being off-topic. I'm at a loss here. Brock flat out refused to do much of anything beyond his usual routine in his match with Ambrose.
