Burns & Patterson super unlucky to miss the squad. Also Carey, Wade's form with the bat demanded his selection however. The pace bowling sextet is scary good Pattinson is somewhat the forgotten man in Aussie cricket due to his injuries but at his best lightning quick.

Smith has tried his hardest to haul Australia's ass out of a deep hole today, scoring his 24th test century and taking the team score from embarrassing to modest. Only one wicket left for England as we get close to the end of today's play.

Australia about to begin the fourth day on 3/124, having dismissed England yesterday for 374 (Burns top scored with 133). It's England's game to lose, I think, but as long as Smith is still at the crease and they can increase England's second innings target, Australia have got a chance.

Naturally, Smith gets another hundred and so does Wade. With healthy contributions in the lower order, Australia declare at 7/487, meaning that England have a day and a bit to score 398 and win the match.
