Episode 03 - rundown.
- Brandi as always a wonderful public relations face for. - title unveiling at All Out, wondering who will present it, what would be a good Bret Hart/Ric Flair for women's wrestling? How are Lita and Trish Stratus' relationship/contracts with the fed? Or maybe someone like Portia Perez or Allison Danger. - AUSTIN CREED B-Roll Still! - Jabailey managed to do a pretty solid job of selling his match with Michael Nakazawa - Daniels promo, hell yeah. - A wonderful introduction to Private Party. It's cool to know that they are Amazing Red students. I really hope that Best Friends and SCU get similar promo intro times, obviously not the same thing since Chuck Taylor is the greatest wrestler on the planet and SCU are pretty big mainstays on Being the Elite, but a serious promo/introduction. Maybe they wont get Punk But they can get AJ Lee not iconic as Bret of course but she is a popular one.

I don't think the WWE Legends contract prevents anyone on them for appearing with other promotions, so I wouldn't be surprised if they got someone like Lita or Trish Stratus to present the title. Madusa would also be pretty interesting from a historical perspective.

Neat videos. I'm digging them and they are great at introducing characters to people who may not be familiar with them. Had no idea who Darby Allen or Joey Janella were, but now I'm excited to see what they can do based solely on these.

Jebailey actually did a really good job of explaining why he's doing the match. CD is always awesome, I could watch him promote a match all day long. Private Party piece was amazing. Super hyped to see more of them now and really rooting for them to make it big time. Really likeable guys and you can tell how excited they are to be part of AEW.

Heh I'm actually in the video for a few seconds playing Firepro Wrestling World, I'm the guy in the Sakuraba rash guard.
Really good video, did a good job of establishing why the Cima match is so important and the Private Party part established them as a up and coming team that are there to impress more than they are there to be immediate title contenders.

I hate being another person dog piling on them, but how can WWE fail to do the same thing with the weeks of shows they have before a PPV? Like, Roberts was a singles competitor and felt completely in his element when he was describing the importance about the Rhodes vs The Bucks. If this is the kind of story telling they're planning to bring to their television shows then I think they could have a real chance at being a successful company. As an aside, I almost bawled again when I saw the Jacksonville shooting stills. This hurts to see that kind of random violence and it's nice to see a company do something for the community and not seem like they're doing it as a PR stunt. Great stuff.

I want Jake Roberts talking about every storyline via video package from now on. Great stuff. Given Cody's friends with DDP, wouldn't be surprised to see Jake, Page, and/or Scott Hall pop up from time to time for things like this, and that's pretty awesome. It definitely helps lend a gravity to things.

They need to keep sprinkling in things like that as it is absolutely gold and really sets AEW apart.

I’ll share the sentiment in Jake being an amazing interview for the tag team segment. He was clear he hated tag team wrestling because he couldn’t trust anyone but in kayfabe, he’s been in enough tag team matches or seen enough tag teams to know what works, especially in the WWF where it was a mostly stacked tag division.

I wish all these videos were on one YT channel. Sifting through the Being the Elite, AEW official and Nightmare Family channels can be a little tiresome.

Madusa would also be pretty interesting from a historical perspective. Lita and Trish seem less likely, Madusa probably more doable. Could also see maybe bringing in someone like Molly Holly or Bull Nakano or Manami Toyota or something, or bring in Aja Kong again to do it. Uhh, maybe Daffney? I'd suggest Cheerleader Melissa, but it might be odd to have someone doing it who isn't retired or semi-retired, or someone like Aja where she's such a rarity in American wrestling that it isn't really an issue of oddness to have them showing off a title belt they won't want to be one of the first competing for.
