Haven't watched since pre-Covid, mostly since many of my favorites left. Based on this page of the thread though, it looks like it's getting awesome again. I'm gonna watch the last couple episodes this weekend. Like every wrestling show, it's lacking the live crowd energy, but they are going back to basics with solid and simple builds on their main feuds, particularly Hammerstone (who has been surprisingly good as a babyface) chasing Fatu for a title vs. title match, the Von Erichs vs. Team Filthy, and Salina de la Renta tapping into some Lucha Underground lore. Also, Lio Rush vs. Myron Reed for the Middleweight title was really good as you would expect from those two.

I'm gonna watch the last couple episodes this weekend. It's still a surprisingly solid show. COVID definitely put the hurt on them and the talent exodus didn't help. I actually like the current "crowdless" setup in a "smokey club". And of course, Court is the a-hole whisperer and is able to do quite well with wrestlers I don't actually like.

Yeah, MLW actually turned me into a Teddy Hart fan for awhil there.

I always find it interesting how MLW uses licensed music from time to time, seemingly without incident or acknowledgement. This week it was NIN's "Me I'm Not" in the talky segment before the opening sequence.

(NIN's "HYPERPOWER!" with an intro tacked on, IIRC his theme was changed for the return) (instrumental of "The Man" by the Killers) I've heard more than once that Court Bauer has connections within the music industry, I wonder how true that is.

I know it was said when Mil came in it was the bigger part of a storyline but you don't just go dig up a whole promotion and run it back in its supposedly old stomping ground for just a story.
But again idk who funds MLW idk how much money they got because LU at its height in season 3 cost 18mil to make.
And then there is the whole IP unless FMV has made a deal with MLW that has not been reported.
And last but not least you aint bringing back LU without Skip Chaisson the man behind LU's vingettes and overall look and feel.

MLW has decided not to be left out regarding using guys from the NBA. They are using a crooked ref angle with Tim Donaghy who got fired for betting on games he was officiating

They are using a crooked ref angle with Tim Donaghy who got fired for betting on games he was officiating So they turned Injustice face, then decided to run the crooked ref angle that would've justified their existence in the first place? Good grief.
