I didn't hate the Flintstones, but I didn't love them either. The Jetsons were my stuff. I was a sucker for anything with aliens and/or robots. I loved dinosaurs as well, but only realistic dinosaurs, not cartoony ones like Dino. I also remember getting chills when the realization hit me one day that if the Flintstones live in prehistoric times, that means they're all long dead now. Have you put any thought into why they celebrate Christmas when they lived way before the birth of Jesus? They actually live in a post-apocalyptic future where they live in the ground and the Jetsons are part of the society that live in the atmosphere? |

Genetic experiments in the Jetsons world that proved to be an expensive failure and were subsequently abandoned on the planet. |

I made a girl friend watch my favorite Flintstones episode a couple weeks ago- The Snorkasaurus Hunter. was she surprised to hear Dino talk Yes. I didnt spoil that part. |

I never understood the talking Dino episode and how it fits with the rest of the series. Not only does he talk, but he an intelligent adult, the Dino we are used to, is clearly a puppy, he is a child. Did this talking Dino have a puppy and left in between episdes and we got his son as their pet. I wish the talking Dino stuck around, that could have been Brian Griffin before Brian Griffin.
