That’s interesting, I was just about to ask about this but wasn’t sure if this board was the best place to ask.
My my father had a tooth pulled two weeks ago. One tooth was really bothering him for weeks. Hurt to eat. He finally had it pulled and for a couple days he felt great and was eating more. He went back for a follow up and they gave him antibiotics and I don’t know if it’s delayed trauma/stress from the tooth extraction, or side affects of the antibiotics, but he’s pretty out of it. Super fatigue and muscle aches. Feels almost like the flu. I had something similar when I had my wisdom teeth taken out, and when I had some GI issues I had some issues with probiotics (said it was called Herx affect when all the bad bacteria in your body dies at once and too rapidly, apparently it poisons the blood and try to detox), so I’m hoping it’s just that.
But yeah hopefully your experience is better.

But yeah hopefully your experience is better. I cannot function on antibiotics well at all. Lethargic and don't feel like eating, which then leads to nausea when I take the antibiotics on a mostly empty stomach. It's not great, I always dread getting put on anything, but yeah we've learned since that antibiotics basically clear all bacteria good and bad, and it can really mess with your gut health and stuff. So yogurts and stuff with natural bacteria in it is highly recommended to eat while on antibiotics. But if your dad doesn't get better, maybe a follow up with his doctor if possible, if only for peace of mind. I've been going in circles with antibiotics after my mother had minor surgery so I kinda know what you're going through. Hope he feels better soon.

At dentist now, waiting. Let you all know how I feel when I can.
Thanks for all the advice.

Don't even sell for the dentist, brother. Tell him it doesn't even hurt and he ain't shit.
Tell the assistant to ignore the script and just do a normal three count instead of the planned fast count.

Have some good movies or TV shows or music lined-up to relax with when you are recovering.

As soon as you leave the dentists office, no matter how numb and plugged with gauze you are, EAT. Eat something. You'll be taking strong meds later and on an empty stomach, it'll not work out well.

Lol, bro, they only gave me ibuprofen and tylenol with codeine. I did eat a cup of jello. Drinking a cup of tea now.

They tried the tylenol w/ codeine with me once and regretted it SO bad when I walked back in with my face(lips, eyes, etc) very swollen. Throughout all my time as an opioid addict, who'd have thought I'd be allergic to any of them?
