Haven't actually watched Gremlins since the 80's, but Ghostbusters is a damn cinematic masterpiece.

I think SyFy is doing a Ghostbusters marathon. The good ones.

I think SyFy is doing a Ghostbusters marathon. The good ones. So the first movie and The Real Ghostbusters (before it got retooled into “Slimer! and the Real Ghostbusters”)?

I think SyFy is doing a Ghostbusters marathon. The good ones. So, the 2 movies, the 1st season & syndicated episodes of The Real Ghostbusters?

1984 was SUCH a great year for entertainment.
I really wish I could go back in time to experience it myself...seeing movies like Repo Man, Buckaroo Banzai and Paris Texas in their original runs would be awesome. And I'd love to find a way to attend the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics, the best one ever held (IMO).
The films of 1982 get all the hype and for good reason, but '84 isn't any slouch either. Lots of good stuff, and not just from the movie industry.

Check out Gremlins 2: The New Batch next. Hahaha I’ve heard so much about the sequel but still intend on checking it out Gremlins 2 is one of the most against-type sequels ever, but for all the best reasons. It's seriously a spoof of the first one, and it also has one of the best fourth wall breaks you'll ever see.
