Who's age surprised you? As a kid in the early 90s I would have sworn both are Anderson and Michael Hayes we're in there 40s.

Mean Gene was in his 40s for almost all of his initial WWF run. I would’ve guessed he was much older than that.

It's quite surprising that Earthquake was in his 20's for a good chunk of his WWF career.

Younger then I thought: Earthquake, Big Boss Man, Steven Regal, Arn Anderson, Michael Hayes, and King Kong Bundy. Bundy, Boss Man, and Quake were all only in their mid to late 20's when they had their main event runs with Hogan. Boss Man was only 25 which was something I would've never figured.
Older then I thought: Bad News Brown, Bret Hart, Lex Luger, Sting, Johnny B. Badd, Tom Zenk, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash. Bad News was 45-47 during his WWF run. I knew he wasn't a youngster or anything but I never would've thought he was that old. Kind of funny how Bret, Nash, and Hall were all pillars of the New Generation youth movement during the mid 90's when all three had late 50's birth years and were pushing 40. Bret was only three to four years younger then the dinosaurs in WCW like Hogan and Piper.

Mickie James being only 100 is surprising.

It's crazy to me that Undertaker was only in his mid 20's when he started in WWF. He had an aura of someone who had already been around for ages when I watch the old school clips.
Dolph Ziggler is 38. He still seems like one of the young guys to me, even though he's been around forever.
In a tragic example, Owen Hart was only in his mid-30s when he passed. Most of WWE's current upper-midcard/main event talent are that age or older, but Owen was seen as a seasoned vet by 1999.
It's funny that PS Hayes was mentioned in this thread, because I just saw a classic Freebirds pic or video where someone commented "crazy that PS was only like 23 here"

Mabel/Viscera/Big Daddy V started in the WWE so young and had been around the WWE so long that I was actually really surprised to discover he was only 43 when he passed. I would've thought he was at least a decade older.

What this thread teaches is that it's probably better to look 40 when you're 20, because you're also going to look 40 when you're 80.

Interesting that Shawn Michaels and Hogan won their first tile when they were both 31 years old

I never thought about wrestlers ages growing up-or anyone's for that matter.
Now I do and I think about the fact that although I'm not athletic, I'm in much better shape than (as in no lingering injuries) most wrestlers.
Right now, I'm the same age Billy Graham was when he first tried to return to the WWF in 1986 and it boggles my mind.

tied to this but growing up in the Royal Rumble 1993, felt like he was such an old guy in there, and he was only 43 - it's not old, and even some wrestlers are coming into their own around that age

Everyone looked older than they were due to copious amounts of steroid and the beard trend of the 80’s and 90’s

Warlord was in his early twenties during the whole Powers Of Pain run and pretty much retired by like thirty.

The fact that Christopher Daniels is closer in age to The Undertaker than Undertaker is to Sting is...kinda weird.
