Kareem Said’s death in Oz was profoundly shocking and influenced the rest of the series. One of the true moral centers of the show. It was definitely something.

I didn't see anyone say the second one. Besides, is it really so bad for me to try and be nice about it? Oh nah I was just pointing it out lol, I was vague myself in saying the Avenger movies in general because even though it's been a month there is still people that haven't seen it Yeah, same. Some of which are on here, so I want to do my little part to not ruin anything for them. Maybe a losing battle, but it makes me feel better to be considerate haha

JT from Degrassi. I saw that death as unexpected. I don't know where the whole backstory what led to his death came from (Something about a riot at a basketball game; I may need to watch those episodes), but that sort of hit me. Also, Rick from Degrassi. Okay, I know that he was driven over the edge because of some cruel prank, and it didn't help that he was given a terrible reputation, but that episode arc was pretty hard to watch. I always thought how interesting it was that Toby (who kind of faded into a background character with no major stories after season 2 was at the forefront of both those tragic storylines. It's like he disappeared only to comeback for tragedy.

Technically from a book, but Sirius Black's death in the movie version of Order of the Phoenix along with Harry's reaction makes me tear up everytime I see. Same with Cedric Diggory in Goblet of Fire.

I've been rewatching Stranger Things to get ready for the new season and while I'm not there yet, Bob's death got me. He makes sure everyone can get out safely and it costs him his life. He was such a lovable goof.

Johnny 5 getting blown to hell. Then he was alive and I was all, “f*** yeah!” I felt more emotional in the second one when they were beating him to a pulp. Then he got fixed up and gave the bad guys what they deserved, especially towards Oscar and Jones (Saunders gave in too easily because he clearly had a conscience). But then came towards the end when we all thought he was dead, until Ben revived him.

I have pretty bad luck where if I like a character, they'll either up evil or dead so this could be a long list if I sat and thought for awhile but off the top of my head
Ash from Supernatural Duke from Haven Reid from As The World Turns Snape from Harry Potter JD from Harper's Island Jeff from Nashville

You never see them die of course but the last scene in Blackadder Goes Forth always gives me goosebumps.
Modern day the last 2 Avengers films have had a number of sad deaths that got to me.

Yondu in GOTG2. We get his full redemption and Quill's realisation that Yondu was always his Father really, fI'll owed immediately by his sacrifice.

Hedwig’s death in Harry Potter got to me. Speaking of Harry Potter, Cedric’s death in the Goblet of Fire is pretty heavy. Everyone is acting up a storm, and it makes the scene way more impactful.

Johnny 5 getting blown to hell. Then he was alive and I was all, “f*** yeah!” Well, after his near-death experience, you then have to deal with his mixed-up talk, which freaked me out, a little. I mean there was worse nightmare fuel (IN THAT MOVIE ITSELF, hence the original mention), but still this was a bit off putting.
