Takes several months off, comes back with the opportunity to rejuvenate his character, and immediately they go right back to square one with him, having him turn heel and align with the ginger dweeb. He looks sad and miserable all the time, and has become a glorified jobber. Wonder if he regrets that 5 year contract he signed.

KO's a sad case of someone who just ended up at the wrong place at the wrong time. Had he come back say now or even closer to Summerslam he'd be in a way better position.

I remember reading that he was supposed to be the guy to dethrone Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania, not sure how true that was but I could see how that feud might have worked.

Ugh... if true, there’s another strike against Kofi in my book. Don’t know how much I believe that though with the way he’s treated.

As long as his family's happy I'm sure he's okay with re-signing, but does anybody get hot and cold quite like this guy? When he came back and was playing a face, it was the freshest he'd been in years. Then they did the heel turn on New Day (which, sadly, everybody saw coming) and in typical KO fashion he became really boring.

He’s getting paid well so I don’t think he regrets signing at all.

So, I think it's safe to say he's a bitch. Not the supreme bitch that is Samoa Joe, but he's getting up there.

KO being the one to take the title off Bryan at WM sounds terrible, by the way. I'm glad we got Kofi vs. Bryan instead.

Yeah honestly I don't know if Owens would have actually dethroned Bryan so much as he would have challenged him. I think there's decent space for Owens as a face but coming in with no momentum and a family man gimmick up against Daniel Bryan cutting some of the best heel work WWE's had in years would have felt really limp and missed all of the really perfect WM30 parallels that the Kofi story got. I don't see him actually going over at all there, it'd probably be like Orton or something.

Owens is beyond any level of scorched earth. If anything having him around at this point actively makes WWE programming worse since it's watching a guy going through the motions and getting jobbed out constantly. And we have another 4+ years of this to look forward to. At least when he was Big O and being a wacky face for a brief time there was some hope he could be rehabbed. But just turning him heel so quickly was ill advised and now he's back being the same heatless jobber he was last year, right down to teaming with Zayn.
I actively wondered how anyone could ever draw money with Owens or Zayn after how they were booked last year. They might have had a chance if Owens had done a longer run with the New Day and then turned heel 6 months later. I even asked my mom recently who the main WWE stars are that get her to change the channel or leave the room, and Owens and Zayn were at the top of the list. She even had some decent things to say about Corbin (who did a personable local TV interview when SD came to town).

I wouldn't say KO is a bitch, he's just a sad loser right now. It takes a lot to be in that "bitch" territory. KO's 2018 during that Braun stuff? THAT was rough for him. That was some rough rough times. In retrospect...besides 2015 and early 2016 KO's entire main roster run has been ridiculously lackluster.

I'm pretty sick of them together, but a face KO and Sami vs. Bryan and Rowan feud could be really good if KO and (especially) Sami weren't the drizzling shits right now.

He’s a perfect heel to get babyfaces ready for bigger programs. If he was a first feud for Aleister Black & could help him get over- then we have something. Or, give us unrepentant scumbag Kevin Steen who is such a horrible misanthrope you’d pay any amount of money to watch him lose. Current “I’m just in a bad mood KO” just doesn’t go far enough.

Lol about to start saying No Cap on here and see how long it takes people to catch on like "No Cap Braun ain't shit" 2018 KO was full bitch level, this KO is just on hard times lmao. KO when he first came up was a good midcard piece but he's floundered since the Universal title run, some his fault and some not. I think the babyface turn being cut short is sad tho because he had legs with that

He should have beat Kofi and put him out for a few months..
He would’ve been the most hated heel in the company.

But yeah, KO 2018 was on some other shit. He was THAT GUY when it came to being a bitch just, ugh. This KO just doesn't seem that inspired but he hasn't been through the ringer like last year's Kev and it's not his fault. He can still do well, he just has to get that good angle and that good storyline. Who knows what'll happen and when it'll happen but it's easy. Hell, just have Zayn betray Owens and that's enough for a real babyface turn and a feud we know he'll excel in. Any time I see those 2 together I'm just waiting for someone to betray the other.
