KO's a sad case of someone who just ended up at the wrong place at the wrong time. Had he come back say now or even closer to Summerslam he'd be in a way better position. Still, they didnt need to turn him heel.

It's like Sasha and Bayley. Yeah, I can understand why people are annoyed they didn't get a better run with the tag titles, but they're both so much better on their own.

Lol about to start saying No Cap on here and see how long it takes people to catch on like "No Cap Braun ain't shit" 2018 KO was full bitch level, this KO is just on hard times lmao. KO when he first came up was a good midcard piece but he's floundered since the Universal title run, some his fault and some not. I think the babyface turn being cut short is sad tho because he had legs with that Yeah that works lmao. I can imagine someone saying "No cap, Mella doesn't need one" or something lmao. But yeah, KO 2018 was on some other shit. He was THAT GUY when it came to being a bitch just, ugh. This KO just doesn't seem that inspired but he hasn't been through the ringer like last year's Kev and it's not his fault. He can still do well, he just has to get that good angle and that good storyline. Who knows what'll happen and when it'll happen but it's easy. Hell, just have Zayn betray Owens and that's enough for a real babyface turn and a feud we know he'll excel in. Any time I see those 2 together I'm just waiting for someone to betray the other. Yea, I think that face turn works. Makes Zayn into a even more slimier heel and KO can get sympathy from it in the I don't want to be that guy anymore but I turned this one into a monster KO just needs a storyline. No reason the IC title shouldn't be brimming with talent between him, Ali, Andrade, Black, Orton etc

Still, they didnt need to turn him heel. Yeah he should have stayed a face. He was a good one in the short amount of time he was one and I'm talking about before the New Day stuff. Yeah the New Day stuff was cool but it was a setup. Yea, I think that face turn works. Makes Zayn into a even more slimier heel and KO can get sympathy from it in the I don't want to be that guy anymore but I turned this one into a monster KO just needs a storyline. No reason the IC title shouldn't be brimming with talent between him, Ali, Andrade, Black, Orton etc Yeah they'd both benefit from it and besides that, it's not as if he's got anything else to do as a heel. He feels like he's exhausted everything possible to do as a heel besides being a heel tag team champion which knowing this company wouldn't work out because they suck with tag teams.
I'd put him in that IC Title pool if not keep him in the upper-tier pool for the WWE Title against guys like Randy or whoever is above the IC. He's got too much to do.

He really does look miserable. I see his face on the YouTube snippets of the show that I watch, and the expression on his face is eerily reminiscent to that of Dean Ambrose during his heel run. I can almost envision a speech bubble over him going: "This is not good shit; I don't want to be here."

Turning him heel again was already a terrible decision, and then having him lose to Kofi right away then immediately go on the backburner for Ziggler really scorched the earth.
I do think having him against Bryan at Mania was absolutely the wrong idea and glad they didn't do it, but they should've come up with something or other else for him to have done right off as a face instead. Like, I dunno, could you imagine if they'd held off on this whole casual family man fighting for his kids thing until this Bray angle was ready to go? The characters would have complimented each other perfectly.
Though either way hanging out with Zayn is the worst part of it. Sami is just so damn obnoxious as a heel that it rubs off on everyone he associates with and making him constantly scheming with his little buddy just makes him come off way less legit than he does on his own.

He should've come back as a face and gone after Lashley. You know, the guy who put him out of action when he has a family to support?

Owens was fun and fresh as a babyface, so of course they turned him heel like two weeks later and reverted him to the same old boring WWE Standard Heel Template.

I know a lot of people have a kind of "nostalgia" for them from the indies and I never saw them pre WWE but when Owens came in he was a big deal (fairly quick) after beating Cena and I was like wow this guy rules. Just a big bully who has a million moves and can talk. Maybe that shoulder injury screwed him over but I've never bought Zayn as a main eventer on that level. Putting them together just seems like a lazy story the writers fall back on when they run out of ideas when really Owens should be far more credible on his own.

He’s getting paid well so I don’t think he regrets signing at all. Jon. Moxley.

Sami's an awesome talent as a babyface, but he could very well be one of the worst booked heels I've ever seen. He could make 1997 Stone Cold look like a geek just by teaming with him.

Lol by Star Wars rules we should be getting to the 5th "bitch" thread version of The Empire Strikes Back. That means it'll be the best thread we have ever seen haha

Zayn is genuinely the Ricky Steamboat of this era in how easy it is to book him as a main event underdog face, so I don't see how nobody can buy him as a main eventer. He was THE guy in early NXT for a reason.

He pretty much peaked on his main roster debut when he beat Cena clean. Figured the only way from there was down.

I know he had that great match with Nakamura in NXT but can't remember a single big match he's done on the mainz.
