Big Show looked way better with a shaved head. I don't know, I think the short hair and goatee and/or horseshoe mustache was his best look. Dude was still young, going bald aged him like fifteen years to me. I did like the JeriShow look though. Bald with the van dyke. Van Dyke, right? The one with the chin hair and no mustache.

A Van Dyke beard is hair on the chin with a moustache. A goatee is hair on the chin and no moustache (though it has become an umbrella term for all types of beards where the cheeks are clean shaven). Show is a guy who should never have anything less than a full beard, and certainly never be clean shaven. Bald, clean shaven Big Show just looks like a giant baby.

Great Khali picking up the vice grip as a finisher did a lot to make his matches better. There was a lot more psychology they work with, compared to the choke lift powerbomb thingy, or the brain chop.

When I was a kid I was watching WWF before I found out about and started watching the NWA. I liked Barry Windham but the first time I saw him he reminded me too much of Sam Houston. Windham was bigger and much more talented but they had a very similar look. When Windham started growing out his facial hair he looked like such a bad ass.

Then again that could be said about 90% of Khali's offence. I just couldn't buy it no matter how well people sold for it though.

I figured that if Von Erichs got away with claws, a dude with hands bigger than his opponents' faces could plausibly enough squish guys. I remember Crush's looking a bit better, sure, but I liked it better than Khali's shitty chokebomb, and it was a lot safer.

Mustafa Ali dropping the weird ass Starbucks logo looking gear for his light up mask transformed his look from "another dude on 205 Live" to "eventually breakthrough star of 205 Live." Even if he never got the cool light show entrance, the difference in gear alone made him look like he belonged on the Wrestlemania 34 stage in a way the previous gear would not have. One of these guys looks way more like a star than the other.

In this case, i think they made the right choice. He looks and feels like a star now. The yellow, red and blue gear also set him apart from looking like an Indy Seth Rollins rip-off.

A non-WWE example but Jay White looks much, much better now that he's finally growing a beard.

I know it was before his wwe run but styles looks so much better to me with the soccer mom hair and beard. Before he always kinda just looked like generic wrestler number 19. Also I didn't hate his short hair but i felt jericho always looked his best during his wcw cruiserweight run

The Uso's changing their look up a few years ago away from their generic Samoan outfits did wonders for them.

Without changing up his look, I don’t think he has nearly as much success since leaving TNA.

All it took was two pairs of kilts and a couple Taxi Driver jackets to make The Bar a legit tag team
