Just been listening to this again. Such a great cover of The Man Who Sold The World. Probably the best Unplugged show in the series. That’s my favorite track from the set too.

It's funny but I remember having this CD in my backpack in my Discman when I was a Soph. in HS. Somehow it was turned on during Geometry class. I still have no clue how this happened. But yeah you could see people near me kinda cracking up as the climax of Where Did You Sleep Last Night? was blasting away. Even muffled in the backpack it was kinda loud, haha. Oddly enough my Geometry teacher, Mrs. Brock, didn't say anything to me about it.

I miss the original line up for Alice In Chains. Much like WWE it feels like the quality of music in general just isn’t as good anymore.

Used to play this as I went to bed. Same. My ritual in high school was burn one, put on Unplugged (sometimes Oasis What’s the Story) and go to sleep. F*** do I love that album

This and “Dookie” were the first pieces of music I ever owned. On cassette.

Where Did You Sleep Last Night is one of my favorite covers and songs ever. That stare Kurt gives before the last line of the song, and the show, gives me chills every time.

in hindsight, it feels like Kurt's funeral. Wonder if that was what he was going for.

The first thing I point to when someone tries to dismiss them as a flash in the pan. An absolutely mesmerizing show.
