With all due respect to the likes of John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Alan Silvestri, and so many other great composers of superhero themes; I still consider this the single best movie theme for a comic book character ever:

First movie that I can remember watching as a very young kid. Started my fandom of Batman that continues to this very day. I am a fan of the Nolan Dark Knight trilogy, but the Batman from 1989 will always hold a special place in my heart.

I was six at the time, and holy hell what a phenomenon. My mom tried so hard to direct me away from Batman, then my grandma waltzes in during a visit with the VHS.

Saw it at the local Drive-In. I must've been 5 years old at the time. Loved it!
