Even though I'm a "Yank" I love watching the episodes on Youtube and although the early episodes are rough in many different ways(Harry in blackface...ugh), the last 5 or 6 seasons are so quotable.

Absolutely loved TV Burp back in the day. Used to watch it all the time with my mom. We also watched the UK Apprentice so it was always great when Harry would focus on that.

I’m not a fan of Harry Hill as a stand up, but this show was guaranteed to get at least one belly laugh out of me per episode. Even when it lost steam slightly in the last two series - too much of an emphasis on Wagbo and Knitted Character - it was still better than the rest of the dross ITV dredged up on a Saturday night.

I think he benefits a lot from having a structure put on him he can work around.

Ear Cataracts? (Seriously, find me a more iconic comedic moment involving the slow loss of hearing and sight, I'll wait)

Also this moment made me laugh for minutes when I first saw it. NO BLOBBY NO! Inserting Mr. Blobby into any TV show he shouldn't be in, but especially one as dour as Eastenders, is flawless comedy.

I absolutely love TV Burp.
His obsession with the show about lorries in the final season.
When he would loop footage round and round over and over again, it makes me cackle like a loon.

I think my favorite bit was when he showed the Corrie clip of mistaking a kid for an adult so he then mistakes Ronnie Corbett for Paris Hilton.

Wasn't there a thing in the first few series where he wasn't allowed to show clips of Eastenders so he'd put up courtroom like drawings with the characters dressed as clowns?

I actually knew a guy who went to a tonne of TV show takings so invited me and my brother to the taping of the first episode of the final series of TV Burp. It was a tonne of fun and a genuinely cool factoid I can give is when they film cutaways to clips and need to re-record, Harry would just tell really bad puns and quips and everyone would laugh because somehow he’d make it work.
He was supposed to get me and my sister to the finale episode but never did, the bastard.
Edit: Should also mention he was so established in going there, he and Harry had a whole conversation about his mum’s surgery and he like. Being sat next to him at the time, it was surreal as hell.

This was good but I used to really like Harrys old show on C4 around 1998. Stouffer the cat and Burt Kwok(hey little hen) were always fun.

Used to love watching TV Burp it seemed like one of those shows most people liked whether young or old.
Thanks for reminding me of its existence I will try and find some old episodes now.

I got into a TV Burp hole and found this segment, which is genuinely one of the best he ever did. So goddamn funny.
