So what they do?
Announce basically all rematches to the next PPV.

I would assume that Ziggler is done now since Joe attacked Kofi.
I thought maybe a couple of the IYH PPVs at Louisville Gardens did some lower attendance numbers given that it's a smaller venue and all. But the one with Bret/Diesel in a cage did 5500 and the Ground Zero with Taker/HBK did 4963. I wonder if they reduced capacity for staging on the latter show since the company was hotter by Sept. 1997 than in Feb. 1996.

Damn, Fyter Fest is going to beat that out and the arena its being held in is a lot smaller than the Tacoma Dome.

That's the same as what PROGRESS drew at Wembley last year. Its about what the market is for the level of show it was (a D level PPV).

Vince must be good shitting his pants. What is it going to take for people to understand he just legitimately doesn't give a shit anymore? Vince has his Saudi/Fox/NBC money in one hand, and his XFL toy in the other. They could have 'empty arena' PPVs at this point and he wouldn't care because the company is still raking in huge profits thanks to those inexplicable deals.

They're clearly panicking. They came out and literally apologized for the poor quality a few months back and now they've been desperately scrambling to throw any shit they can at the wall trying to find what sticks. They tried the edgy third hour thing, they brought in the 24/7 title, they've basically completely stopped having ordinary matches in light of this commercial thing, they pretty much blew through all of Brock's appearances at once with constant teases of him cashing in for no real reason, now they're chasing shippers and have dug up the Undertaker yet again. They're trying their damnedest to get people invested. The problem is that they have no clue how to do so.

I think Vince might make a game of it. See how much he can do that people hate, see how small attendance gets, and still make billions from Saudi Arabia, Rubert Murdoch, and all the other connections his wife made in her new job. But hey, they give you NXT.

That Saudi money is locked up for a ten year deal. An international murder scandal couldn’t keep Vince from collecting that money. However I do wonder about that Fox deal. They’re getting a ton of money for that too but if the show bombs can Fox pull the deal? It’s Fox so I’m guessing they have a way out of it if WWE doesn’t deliver the ratings they’re looking for. I’d say Vince has every reason to be nervous about that.

Anyone who's acting like that Fox deal is going to be a bulletproof guarantee of money and that Fox won't cancel something for underperforming if it's costing them money is way off the mark. WWE has every reason to be afraid of audience decline and the fact it's all starting before they're even in their new contracts is a huge problem.

Fox and NBC Universal's teams of lawyers wouldn't agree to an ironclad deal. It probably costs them something, but there's gotta be mechanisms built in there to get them out of the deal if WWE performs well below expectations. Or Fox or NBCU flex their network executive muscles to threaten Vince into doing something he doesn't want to do.

Possibly due to extra space for the stage, but the Ground Zero card wasn't that great, outside of the main event.

I'll give the crowd credit for being red hot throughout the show. You wouldn't have known how horrible the attendance was.
