His best moment was when he called out the Shield and said “justice awaits you.”

Wasn’t it brad Maddox and Chris Jericho in that segment where the announcers just started shitting over how bad the segment was?

I still quote this with a friend of mine so I have some affection for him. Everything else, well.

Didn't he get fired for calling someone a prick in a promo? At a house show, he went out to the crowd, turned to them, and called someone in the crowd a "cocky prick". Damn never knew that. I remember him clearly being told to stick to the script and not to acknowledge crowd chants to the point it became awkward. Maybe that's why he wasn't allowed.

It’s a shame you can’t really talk about him anymore without someone bringing up the whole scandal from a awhile back. He was genuinely funny and probably my favorite performer in the company, even dating back to FCW. He didn’t get to do much on the main roster, but the baby battle royal and the Bane promo stick out to me. I remember him getting a good reaction from the night the Authority made him fight Randy Orton for his job.
I hate how things played out for him.

Never heard of him b4 I saw him at a NXT house show before he got called up. I liked him there so didn’t mind him at all.. Actually like the “bane” promo.

Eric Bischoff's illegitimate son. Between Brad and Eugene, Eric’s got a lot of chlorine in his gene pool

Yeh honestly another wasted opportunity just because Vince didn't like the guy.He has this underdog charisma to him.

I actually find the awkwardness and weird promo/character style he did (whether intentional or legit bad) to have potential.
I didn't mind the guy actually. I can't remember what he did after being GM other than that tape controversy and the lost in a cave stuff, before being unceremoniously fired. Didn't he become an actual wrestler on the main roster?

Kind of but not really. By the time he was fired he had worked as a tag team with Adam Rose on house shows and whatnot. At some point he dyed his hair platinum blonde and underwent a couple of name changes. I don’t really remember him having any TV matches after being fired as GM though.

As someone else said I was really in and out on WWE programming during Brad's entire run. Was he ever a good wrestler? Was he meant to be a wrestler or just a character? What is he doing now? What is the cave incident everyone is mentioning? The main thing I remember about Maddox is him wearing a turkey costume and getting Tombstoned by the Undertaker on Jimmy Fallon. I believe it was to promote Survivor Series that year. Also remember Rosa Mendes always tweeting about how hot he was so I assumed they had something going on and good for him if so.
