What the f*** are the Grizz doing? This is the same franchise that signed Chandler Parsons to that deal?? They're actually really killin it rn. And yeah, I know Parsons got injured. But even before that I didn't think he was much. Keep in mind they just traded Parsons for Hill and Plumlee which at least will be easier to flip than Parsons himself and they took a flyer on Josh Jackson and only had to give up Korver and Jevon Carter (Who I do like) So they got Ja/Bradley/Jackson or Anderson/JJJ/Valenciunas and then Jackson or Anderson, Clarke, and Jae Crowder on the bench. Only thing that sucks is their back-up center situation.

Iβve been thinking a lot about the Kawhi thing, which is ultimately pointless because nobody knows anything about the guy, but I think his mind is made up and the delay is his camp trying to change his mind. Nobody knows anything about Kawhi BECAUSE he hates dealing with the media. Thereβs plenty of anecdotal evidence from his time in San Antonio that he just wants to play and hates doing interviews and appearances and all the other shit. So in my mind, that puts one of the teams in consideration at a distinct disadvantage because of the non-stop media circus that always follows. But that team also has two of the best players in the world, which is obviously appealing to him, and makes the most sense from a branding and recognition perspective, which I think is appealing to his representation. During Kawhiβs last year with the Spurs at the height of all the drama, ESPN had a pretty in-depth article that covered it all from multiple angles that I still think is the definitive, nuances breakdown of what happened: es.pn/2FtTFWp One of the things they went into is Kawhiβs representation, and their own desire for Kawhi to be the centerpiece of their sports agency and having him in a big market to attract other high profile clients. To me, that makes me think Kawhi to the Lakers is a big push on their end. But based on everyoneβs characterization of Kawhi, my guess is he wants to be back home in LA without all the extra stuff, which makes the Clippers more appealing. So ultimately, who knows. I could see either one, but if he stays in Toronto I think itβs short term. Ultimately, I honestly hope for the best for him. He gave the Spurs a ring and deserves to be happy on his own terms. I hope wherever he lands works out for him.

Iβm gonna laugh my ass off if Kawhi decides, after all of this, to just take a year off from basketball.
βYeah, Iβm good, holler at me in 2020.β
Because thatβs a Kawhi thing to do.

I hope wherever he lands works out for him. So, if your angle is correct, this whole #KawhiWatch nonsense is created by Uncle Dennis to enhance Kawhi's "brand" (and benefit along the way) despite the fact that Kawhi has been pretty low maintenance until recently. Then again, this reminds me a lot of Kawhi's last season with the Spurs, where he could still play but the pain from his injury was still a concern. Even though he could've been declared out for the season, Kawhi's people said that he could still play when he felt better, thus letting the Spurs wait for him to come back. In this case, you can take that story, swap "Kawhi will play at X date" with "Kawhi will sign with X team" and things might play out in a similar way. Now, instead of a team and its fans waiting for their main guy to come back, it's the whole league that's the one waiting for a quiet guy to finally speak up his mind and end the uncertainty for good.

Yea, as of right their line up probably looks like Morant Bradley Jackson (if going with youth movement) JJJ Valancuinas Bench is: Crowder, Hill, Plumlee, Iggy (for now). I think they should try to bring back Holiday and Noah on cheap deals if they could to add depth at the SG and C position. They also should try get a vet for the bench to teach Morant They are most certainly trending up and finally getting away from the slow ball Memphis era

Danny Green says Dallas is making good offers for him and Cuban is putting the pressure on him to sign by staying in contact and letting them know how much they want him

Officially annoyed with this foo and his indecisiveness And if he doesn't accept by tomorrow the Lakers lose out on like $15 extra million they could have offered him

Somewhere Danny Green being like....it's been 6000yrs and I am still waiting on Kawhi.

I'm of the opinion that Kawhi is legit split because his plan all along was LA but he ended up loving the Toronto organization. Also sounds like he does not fully trust the Lakers set up. So does he stick with his original plan or does he bank on staying with guys he grew to love

Everybody they have been on has been low cost options, like Trey Burke who they want to sign for the vet minimum As I said before the fact Green has waited on Kawhi should mean something because he has had that option with the Mavs since almost day one Their arrogance in this is a big risk vs reward because unless Kawhi signs a one and one, next year free agent class is slim pickings and would be worse if AD stays with the Lakers and Green stays with GS

As easy as it is to dunk on the Lakers I can't really blame them for putting all their chips on Kawhi. Lebron/AD + best available role players to fill out the roster is only good enough to contend if you throw in the towel on Kawhi early before guys started signing onto other rosters. They had to take the risk either way

People shit on the Knicks days ago when it was revealed they did not throw in their chips on a KD that will be coming off an acihles injury.
Any smart team would be doing the same thing the Lakers would be doing if they had the chance to put together AD , LEBRON AND KAWHI...that is 3 of 5 of the best players in the world you have the chance to put together on your team you go all the f*** in.
So to hell with all the noise...Lakers gonna get all the hate either way either the gamble pays off and people complain about OH GREAT ANOTHA SUPER TEAM...or the gamble does not work and people then wanna crap on the Lakers for going all in when again any smart team would have done the same thing given the chance.
sports are f***ing weird I tells ya lol
