Isiah Thomas is not on the radar for Boston Wonder who’s radar he’s on? I’m not at all a fan, but I still feel bad for how quickly everything went south for him.... Saw it coming though. Always said the second he lost even a half step he wouldn’t be an NBA player anymore.

Knicks would make a "considerable" one year offer to DeMarcus Cousins if they strikeout on their top tier free agents Get your money Boogie. Wonder how he’d handle the NY media though. He seems to have mellowed out since he got traded to the Pelicans so I think he would embrace it The injuries seem to have given him a better perspective as well Media isn't going to treat him like a star, they are going to treat him like a player looking to get back to where he was

Always said the second he lost even a half step he wouldn’t be an NBA player anymore. At his best he is a relentless scorer who played a physical game despite his size The physical nature has caught up to him and he is no longer the same. Boston always knew he wasn't a max player and even without the injury they still make that trade for Kyrie. His size makes him a big liability on defense and with a lost step you can't even put him on the court because he can't even move his hips fast enough to guard Teams are going to try to get him for the cheap and I don't think a playoff team takes a chance on him. You got to look at teams who don't have a young guard like a Memphis or Bulls where he will f** up the mins. Charlotte seems like a place, Miami could take a chance. His picking will be slim for a good while until teams get the player they want than turn back around to him and see if he is healthy

Tbh, surprised Wade aged as well as he did. Dude hit the deck every third possession throughout his career and constantly came up slow. Isaiah is done, but he had a good run. A big hip issue is a killer for a guy with his game. I didn't write him off at first, but it's been two years.

He was able to salvage his later years but if not for the injuries he could have played a few more years Isiah is done and sadly for him he never really even got the chance to be a guy you can considered overpaid. His big mouth with not giving Boston a discount cost him and it has been downhill since the trade to the Cavs Unlike Howard he's not a HOF player so he won't get chance after chance. This year will def be his last if anything

Kings are interested in Patrick Beverly Yes plz. Think he’ll get a better opportunity than “De’Aaron’s backup” elsewhere though.

Everywhere he goes he would be a backup Just a matter of scheme fit and money. I like him with Dallas but I think he would have a positive impact on the Kings and push their young guys

The Athletic of all places mentioned a Leonard/Butler situation for the Clippers is a real possibility.
On one hand, I actually like that team. On the other, it would clear the East overnight. It would be the Bucks and Celtics waiting two years for the real KD to appear (if he’s Brooklyn-bound).

I’d have to think IT offers some team some instant offense of the bench. Even if it’s a few minutes a game I’m absolutely shocked nobody wants him even as a 10th bench guy

He’s not that instant scorer who can get you 20 points in an efficient matter. He plays iso ball, he can’t get his shot easily in the paint anymore due to the wear and tear

Very similar mindsets and approaches to the game.

They aren't ex-30 point scorers who never were concerned with playing much defense, having much humility, being anywhere else on the floor, and being injured never helps. That's why guys like Wally Szczerbiak, Ben Gordon, Ricky Davis, Gilbert Arenas had such an abrupt ending to their careers instead of hanging around like Richard Jefferson and Vince Carter (who was likely headed towards a similar end before a career renaissance.)

Teams will give IT credit for sitting on the bench and accepting his non role for the playoffs so he has that going for him However, your 10th guy on the bench is for depth and not someone attempting to score 40. If he wants to continue his career he will work in silence and let practice show what he can do because what we saw in the games last year wasn’t it. He basically said I’m not coming back until I want after what happened with the Cavs which Denver let him do and he still didn’t look right

Just a guy who’s shown he can get some pints. A back end of the bench guy. Get it he’s a defensive liability, but last time he had a legit shot was two years ago. Not saying even a serviceable backup point guard but I’d be surprised if he doesn’t fit on a roster somewhere

He’s not a stand still 3 point shooter A back end of the bench guy isn’t their to get you points, it’s to give you quality mins whether that be with hustle etc... Those are the guys who go without playing a few days and can get inserted in a game for 10 mins and give the team a spark He will have a chance to showcase that this year but as said before he’s in that realm of Arenas, Iverson etc where they don’t adapt well to the end of the bench

Maybe it’s ego, maybe he’s lost a couple steps and just can’t compete and he’ll be in Big3 next season

Maybe it’s ego, maybe he’s lost a couple steps and just can’t compete and he’ll be in Big3 next season He hasn’t had a chance? He was the automatic number 2 option on the Cavs when he came back. When he got traded to the Lakers he was their sixth man for a team with nothing to play for. Last season he went to Denver and said he wasn’t playing until he was healthy which they said okay and when he came back he was bumped out the rotation not long after. He played 12 games, shot 34% FG, 28% from 3 and in 15 mins a night he averaged 8 points with 8 shots. He’s basically shooting as soon as he gets on the court and he can’t do that He’s going have to sit on someone bench and wait his turn to prove he can still play. He’s already talking about being the “steal of free agency”.
