Either the Warriors need to get new doctors who can do their damn jobs or they're looking pretty scummy here. Though considering the issues Kawhi had with the Spurs' medical staff, I wouldn't be surprised if medical teams being more independent from the teams that pay them is part of the next CBA negotiations. Yea, that鈥檚 what need to happen because as Iggy said you start getting questions from your teammates and media. You see why Kawhi was pissed and you see why the rumor of KD being upset is there now too You can鈥檛 have this in your game

Per Woj; Houston鈥檚 priority is persuing a sign and trade for Jimmy Butler. Yessss, add his charming personality to that mix.
No doubt they鈥檇 be really really really good if it worked out, though.

Houston would be hard-capped at the apron (about $130m) with around $110m of that going to just three players. Now if you're Butler, what are your options this offseason? Philly, NY, Brooklyn, LAC... maybe the Lakers if they get that third max slot?

Mavs will offer the full five year max to KP Did he even play last season? Nope Word is he could have played in February which was what the Knicks date was for him but if you remember they were clearly out of it at that point and wanted him to sit for the rest of the season Once Mavs traded for him they said the same thing in regards to sitting him rest of the season which he agreed to It is a little surprising they are offering this deal considering he said for both Knicks and Mavs he wanted to play out the last year of his deal tho obviously with what Mavs gave up they are going to try to force his hand. Knicks were basically going to offer KP the same thing if he stayed

Philly, NY, Brooklyn, LAC... maybe the Lakers if they get that third max slot? Philly has cap space. They can take on Gordon and Tucker contracts which I think is like $18 mill between the two but if you are giving Butler the max you still have to clear like another $14 mill which I doubt Philly is willing to take on. In that case, I think they give away Capela to someone like Boston or Sac assuming Philly would take back Gordon and Tucker who would be good role players for them admittedly but it would f*** up their cap and i'm not sure if they have bird rights to Butler or Harris meaning being able to go over cap to re-sign them Butler options are basically as you stated those teams. A dark horse is Miami who have the ability to get rid of cap to sign Butler but so far that hasn't happened. Look for them to possibly try to get JR contract which may cost them a 1st round pick to do so Also look for Clippers to go strong after Butler if lose out on Kawhi. LAC doesn't want to strikeout but they also don't need to push it either.

Guessing game time, inspired by former assistant coach Gordon Chiesa on ESPN radio. These are his predictions - where do you see everyone ending up?
Durant - goes to Brooklyn; KD "won't wait for a sign-and-trade from GSW, since it could impact his options" Kyrie - goes to Brooklyn Kawhi - goes to the LA Clippers; the rationale is that "everything went right for the Raptors last year, and it would be difficult to replicate last season's success" Kemba - stays in Charlotte for a deal below the supermax or goes to Boston Butler - stays in Philly Klay - stays in Golden State Tobias - might go to NY; he "apparently likes the east coast" D'Lo - might go to Minnesota; not likely to go to LA "where Lebron dominates the ball" Horford - goes to Dallas Randle - goes to NY "if Tobias doesn't go there"

Even though I agree about Horford going to Dallas being his most likely option I don't get the signing decision by Dallas,by the time Porzingas and Doncic are ready to make deep playoff runs Horford will be 35+. The Horford contract will be a big bad one on the books right as your franchise guys start their prime.

Will offer up some official predictions since a new thread
KD - Knicks. Think he makes the move there knowing this team could be better with a high pick next year while he sits out
Kyrie - Nets - Everything seems to point there and Nets are willing. Knicks are the dark horse for him
Kawhi - Raptors - Think with Majai staying, he also stays
Klay - Golden State - He will get the max there
Butler - Clippers - I think it is between them and Philly and if Philly gives him the full max he stays but if he don't then Clippers get him
Kemba - Charlotte - Think he stays there as well with them giving him close to the max which may doom them at some point
Middleton - Orlando - Dark horse team in the race that can spend cap and he'd be a fit there assuming Lakers don't give him a deal. Clippers could be in play to
Harris - Philly - If they don't get Butler back they will bring back Harris. Dallas is a strong option
Russell - Nets - I think Nets keep both him and Kyrie
Horford - Sacramento - Think they get him. Yes, he would be too much money but this is a culture changing signing
Randle - Phoenix - Going back to Pelicans wouldn't a bad option and Knicks are rumored on a one year deal but a fit in Phoenix is good and he is an all around player they need
Reddick - Lakers - They need role players and shooters. He would be a perfect fit and I think they'd be willing to give him a multi year deal at the $10 mill range
Brogdon - Hawks - Can be a good piece to pair with Young and they have cap to spend
Lopez - Clippers - Need role players to fill in with this talented team and he fits the bill
Cousins - Washington - Can see them cutting Howard and signing Cousins pairing him and Wall hoping they bring the best out of each other
Vucevic - Hawks - Got the cap space to spend and he'd be another fit there for this young squad and they need a big man
DeAndre - Knicks - Think he returns there to continue to mentor and maybe sign back another year to play with KD
Rose - Suns - They need another guard and he can in spades can be starter quality for them. Return to Minny possible
Beverly - Mavs - Return to Clippers possible but think Mavs or someone pays him
Marcus Morris - Clippers - Continue to build up this team and fits Doc team like a glove
Ariza - Utah - Be a good player to replace Crowder
Will give more predictions later but that's off the top of my head

If the Nets lose D'Lo and sign Kyrie but don't get KD, then they should be shipped off to Siberia I trust Sean Marks because he has made all the right moves and been an underrated executive but yeah I don't know about this one. Is Kyrie better than D'Lo and be worth that extra $6 million per year on his deal? Sure. However, that does not make him the right path and I honestly don't know if Kyrie balls enough to justify his lack of leadership skills. He shit the bed in that regard in Boston this year and picked up all LeBron worst habits I think Kyrie in either BK or the Knicks is a terrible idea. Dude is going to be eaten alive.

That's why both teams have been said to be cautious about signing him without KD I honestly don't think either team should be going for the two of them. The Nets can resign D'Lo, get another of the second-tier free agents like Harris or Lopez, and save some money for other pieces or a trade at the deadline and be better off long-term, and if they're both playing in the Garden I honestly think that Durant would eventually punch Kyrie on the court by January of 2021

You still have a little bit of cap left plus a top pick from this year in Barrett. Knicks aren't going to lose sleep if they get KD but don't get Kyrie. They sit KD for the year and still have a max slot available come next year to use on someone with a healthy KD returning plus a potential high pick and guys like Barrett, Knox, Robinson having a year more of expeirence under their belts

Not really. Middleton will be added to a line up that needs another guard. Vucevic while he has turned into all star this season, they have a cheaper option in their draft pick from last year Mo Bamba to fall back on Adding Middleton keeps them in the playoff hunt and their momentum from last year adding to Fultz finally playing as well

If the Kings do give the big money, I鈥檇 rather have Horford than Vucevic. (It won鈥檛 be a lack of trying, that鈥檚 for sure. They鈥檙e always in on everyone... who just say no)
Mainly because I think Harry Giles has unlimited upside, and will be able to swap with Horford in a season or two when his breakout is complete. Plus the guidance and leadership from Horford to the young bigs would be invaluable.
