Only 15 minutes for my dude tonight. Had trouble defending Brook Lopez. Still put up 8/7/2 in his limited time.

We have to talk about the Spurs... What in the blue hell is going on there? Aldridge and DeRozan have gone from scorching hot to ice cold and back, Pop might be too passive, the younglings have shown signs of greatness but they're not as consistent and the veterans aged a decade during the offseason... Now some fans want DeRozan and Aldridge to get traded for whatever other teams might offer, they're saying that Pop is getting senile, that Belineli, Gay, Mills and Forbes should be dealt out of the team and that it's time to call the boys from Austin and let them play as the team embraces the tank... On paper, the team looks good... but it's not and now there are more questions than answers about the future of the Spurs.

On paper, the team looks good... but it's not and now there are more questions than answers about the future of the Spurs. They put together a bad team. I have way more questions about the front office than anything else. These last three years have been a shit show and I feel like they get a lot of slack because of their past glory. Tossing in Danny Green for free in the Kawhi trade, the Pau Gasol extension, letting Kyle Anderson walk for nothing, signing DeMarre Carroll to a three year deal when he's apparently so bad he can't even get on the court, giving Davis Bertans away, passing on Brandon Clarke and Mattise Thybulle in the draft, getting Bryn Forbes and Bellinelli back instead of looking for a damn wing or stretch 4...its all been bad. Pop has been making questionable coaching decisions all year too and honestly doesn't seem to give a shit anymore but he can only do so much with the team they put in front of him. We're officially at the point of calling the kids up from Austin and just focusing on young player development though. The draft this year isn't great but if we can get into the top 10 and land Deni Avdiji or another promising wing that'd be good. And honestly depending on what DeRozan decides to do we could have 4 big expiring contracts going into the 2021 free agent class which isn't a terrible place to be in.

And the Curse of Oladipo continues. Trying to bring back in stars after a long stay away f***s up chemistry time and time again They need that All Star break to get some mental focus back. You can't force the ball to Oladipo but also in the same token, Oladipo knows he doesn't want to f*** up chemistry either. They need to just let shit flow until he gets his legs back because figuring out how to work him and Brodgon in the lineup is going to be a task as well as not diminishing All Star Sabonis

After being out for 16 games (and returning to practice for a quick minute) with โShoulder sorenessโ the Kings have decided to let everyone know Richaun Holmes actually has a labrum tear. Probably just partial, as he got a PRP-injection and will be re-evaluated in 2-3 weeks
At least Giles is probably going to start the rest of the year.

Bagley was never the right choice. This league is currently built on wings not hyper athletic big men who canโt defend and have zero outside game or playmaking ability. But weโve gone down this road enough not to further argue. They only drafted Bagley because he said the magic words โI want to be in Sacramento.โ Fire Vlade though. Immediatly.

You can disagree on the choice but the action would have been, Fox most likely would have been a wasted pick if they took Luka. If the Kings thought Luka would be a superstar year 2, they'd say f*** it and make that move which probably would have set the franchise back a few years but they would have had a superstar to build around Vlade is most likely gone in the Summer tho. He can't live down picking Bagley over Luka

He can't live down picking Bagley over Luka Key word is โmost likely.โ If Fox is as great as everyone thinks he is (he isnโt quite there, zero year 3 jump) he should adapt and learn to play alongside another ball-dominant player. The argument is always โOhhhh but it didnโt work with Luka and Dennis Smith, so it wouldnโt with Fox!โ Na na na, DeFox is superior to Dennis in every way. Should have been given a shot. And even if it didnโt work, itโs not like Fox wouldnโt have been a hot commodity on the trade market. Just bungled in every way imaginable. (I still donโt think Vlade is gone. I think injuries + Bagley being the most developmental pick of the top-5 gives him at least another year... unfortunately)

In fairness, Giannis and Hill was out But also in fairness, Giannis had missed 5 games this season so far and Bucks were perfect

Heck of a game tonight with the Lakers and Nuggets. Almost like a playoff game. One of the better regular season games Iโve seen this year.
