In speaking on Beasley earlier, he will be replaced. They have signed Justin Anderson Nets now have 8 players who will not participate in Orlando and have now signed 5 replacement players. Do they have their draft pick this year? Considering as such, they might as well BS these last 8 games and take that lottery pick They do if they miss the playoffs, otherwise it goes to Minnesota. However, even with the weak roster they're fielding they might have trouble falling out of the playoffs considering the only other team that can take their place is Washington without Bertans and Beal.

Marbury has a doc on Netflix. It's ok, probably means more if you're from NY. But it's VERY favorable towards him; making excuses for all the issues he had bouncing around because either he forced his way out or people got tired of dealing with him. One of his brothers said he should have stayed his ass in Minny and probably would have won a championship, which is entirely true. It's crazy in the era of super teams that a talented young player on his way up would want to LEAVE a team with one of the best players in the league and go TO a team whose best remaining player after the deal was Keith Van Horn. The year after he left the Nets, they went to the Finals. The year after he left the Suns, they went to the Western Conference Finals. He even wore thin on Knicks where he blew through a fair amount of goodwill. He had the talent to play in the league for a few more years at least but just had a shit attitude. Worked out better for him anyway in China. He had moments, but ultimately is one of the least likable dudes that sports docs ever featured, up there with Lance or until they make one about Barry Bonds. One of the funnier moments is when they paint it like LeBron saying he'd never wear $20 shoes was the moment that torpedoed his shoes. LOTS of people dogged that shoe when it came out. But his heart was in the right place. Bonds was selfish, arrogant, and hated the media, but he's nowhere near the same level as Lance Armstrong. Bonds was a prick, he was an asshole, he was upfront about that. Lance Armstrong was a lab accident away from becoming a supervillain. Splitting hairs. Both were/are shitheads in the same category, not really interested in arguing about who was worse and why.

In a shocking development Marvin Bagley hurt himself again and got an MRI.
Meanwhile, Harry Giles is running point guard and looking like one of the best players in camp.
I hate Vlade Divac.

The NBA could make serious money with a video of the conversation when LeBron tells Dwight Howard and JR Smith that they gotta use their heads and be smart about this whole deal.

Kenny Atkinson reportedly had a 3rd interview with the Knicks recently
They need to sign him up. He knows how to get the most out of young players and Knicks need to fully commit to developing players. No more this one year BS they did. If you got cap space, be smart and absorb a 1-2 year bad contract and get a few picks from it

Heโs UNLEASHED, I say!!!

No official update on Marvin Bagley but heโs in a walking boot and crutches. So probably a year and a half for him to get healthy. What a disaster he is
โ
Per Shams, heโs officially out.
Fxxx Vlade.

D-Wade, Draymond Green, and Charles Barkley just had a more enlightening, empathetic, and civil discussion on current events than I've seen anywhere else on television.

How about Bol Bol killing his debut? I wonder who really wanted their team to pick him with their second rounder instead of some anonymous nobody from Wyoming.
I hate Vlade so much.

Here is the thing Losing teams make losing moves. SIMPLE!!! Just because Bol Bol is good on Denver doesn't mean he would been good there. Denver has the luxury to not need him and no fans are going to be calling for Bol Bol to play while they get him right However, I GUARANTEE you he would not had that same luxury there or with any other losing teams. Fans would be bitching that Bol Bol isn't playing and he should be or the team actually rushes him on the court before he is ready and f***s him over Bol Bol ate yesterday because he was good but he is surrounded by good players. He is also good and was a top 10 pick but he fell for health reasons which is scary for a 7'4 guy. Anything he does is literally extra. That's not the same if he was on a shit team because fans on those teams expect the moon and the sun. They hear talent and want it right away as opposed to letting the player work. Same with executives who will rush that player and if Bol Bol got injured then he's a bum and his confidence is zapped

Hell no. First round? Debatable. In Sacramento I guarentee it wouldnt be a Marvin Bagley type situation with his injuries. It would be a Harry Giles situation where the fans know what to expect and celebrate the small milestones. And if it doesnโt work? It was a second round chance. More upside than fxxxing Justin James.

Every pick counts. Bol Bol is talented but Kings aren't in a position to be taking chances and missing out on players. Just like with Giles, people been hyping that boy as a gem and he has not been that. Same would happened with Bol Bol. Fans would got hype, then get mad when he isn't playing In the end, they got gun shy. They just can't pick big men and have not successfully drafted one since Cousins who was a no doubt homerun. The whole front office needs a total tear down

Vlade can fxxx off forever. Worst thing to ever happen to the Sacramento Kings.

Becky Hammon is acting as the Spurs head coach against the Bucks today and Pop is acting as her assistant.

Same with executives who will rush that player and if Bol Bol got injured then he's a bum and his confidence is zapped Agreed. Talent is absolutely required to become good, but coaching and team culture in terms of development play a huge part in how players can turn out. Kawhi going to the Spurs to start his career instead of Indiana likely changed him. Would he have been a star anyway? Probably but he was put in a great system where he was able to develop his game with the best coaches around him. Good teams find ways to develop talent. Youโre seeing it in Toronto with Masai Ujiri who just plucks undrafted/late 1st/2nd round picks onto his team and sees results. The Kings need to first overhaul their entire front office and coaching. The talent part is the least of their concerns right now. Even LeBron in his prime couldnโt make up for a bad front office. The pieces need to be there behind the scenes.
