Stephen A Smith joked around that he saw players leaving the bubble because they couldnβt go 3 weeks without sex, much less 3 months, and thatβs actually one of his more accurate statements.

Now The Kings just need big names from the Blazers, Pelicans, Spurs, and Grizzlies to head out to strip clubs to have a shot at the playoffs. How about Lillard, Zion and Ja tag along with Kawhi and Harden and test how good the chicken wings at that place are like?

Wait, people are really saying that this won't be an asterisk championship season? Come on now. [in my Hubie Brown voice]
This season, 1999 and 2012 are asterisk seasons. They were either shortened due to labor stoppages or an unprecedented outbreak (2020).

I still have never seen an asterisk on a trophy.

My way early bold prediction for next season
Knicks end up with Wall and his contract. He has 2 more years and a player option

They at the very least will not be an easy out Their defense is going to give teams problems I think they make the ECF for a rematch with the Bucks. First round is going to be a middling team (probably Orlando) and I think the Raptors can beat the Celtics in a 7 game series, though it would probably go 7 games. Although this is based off nothing since we havenβt seen anyone play for 4.5 months. We might see an upset we otherwise may not have seen, but I think the Raptors have the chemistry and coaching to not have the layoff affect them.

It isn't the worst move but it is totally a Knicks move with John Wall missing 2 seasons of basketball I think they can get Wall for the minimum. Flip Ntilikina and a few of those team deals so Wizards can decide on the team options and clear cap If they are lucky and get top 3 they probably end up with Lamelo. Lamelo can be a sixth man and change of pace from Wall while RJ can be off the ball more and Wall will set him up in spots to score Tho i'd be worried for Wall legs with Thibs at the helm. Most likely I see them flipping for Rose and giving him a 2nd go with the Knicks

Haliburton wouldn't be a bad fit.

If that's the case then i'm good with Haliburton and people sleeping on Cole Anthony

Huge talent HS recruit, but also kinda disappointing freshman season. A little bit like Cam Reddish last year, but he's more talented.

So weird that the Jazz are in the first game back. What a wild ride it's been since Gobert's test and antics.

Huge talent HS recruit, but also kinda disappointing freshman season. A little bit like Cam Reddish last year, but he's more talented. He was def a top 5 guy coming into the season and injuries and season might push him possibly out the top 10 If someone can land him at 10-14, they are getting a steal. Unlike Cam, Cole has shown the ability to shoot and is a good rebounding guard as well. Either way, assuming Knicks is in the top 7 they will have a choice of guards from LaMelo, Hayes, Haliburton and with Maledon and Anthony right behind them. They SHOULD NOT leave that draft without a PG

Gotta say, I initially thought having no fans would make it a little less enjoyable to watch, but so far it doesn't really stand out as an issue. As long as the quality of play is good, it should be entertaining to watch these next few months.
