VLADE QUIT!!!! LETS GOOOOOOOO!!!! According to Sam Amick; Hinkie is on Vivek’s wish list, though who knows if he’s interested. Joe Dumars likley gets the job outright.

Feel like they need some young blood in that position so hopefully he is a placeholder for a year or two as it does help to have experience during these weird times. Once things are "normal" they def should be looking for a young mind

GM Interview question 1; “Would you have picked Marvin Bagley or Luka Doncic in the 2018 NBA Draft?”
Continue with the interview accordingly. Because only a “Vlade” would pick Bagley.
Also; all bad picks are now to be called “Making a Vlade”
—
Also, wtf are they going to do with Bagley? I think about trading him and washing away the stank of the 2018 draft. The fan base already resents him, he’s tied to the worst draft pick and GM of the 2000s, by some accounts he’s mentally fried by his struggle and said fan base being unhappy.
That said, he’s always injured and has little value. There’s talent in there somewhere (I guess?) A big with little touch who only has one hand only goes one direction and plays little defense doesn’t have the giant upside I see people claiming he has. He jumps twice really fast though, so that’s good.
I’d keep him hope for a healthy run and trade him down the road.

I still contend that just because Luka is great in Dallas doesn't mean he would been great in Sac
Losing teams have losing mentality and do not develop great players. In saying that, maybe Luka is so great he could elevated them who knows, it is water under the bridge

In saying that, maybe Luka is so great he could elevated them who knows, it is water under the bridge Luka is a transcendent talent. He’s not on the Isaiah Thomas level where he explodes elsewhere. He’s a basketball savant who would thrive in any situation. He’s been great everywhere he’s ever been and that wouldn’t have changed by stepping foot in Sacramento.

Too many times we heard transcendent with these international players. Rubio was supposed to be the next Steve Nash and he turned out good but nowhere near that hype IMO Luka got one of the easiest transitions in the NBA thank to the Mavs. Anywhere else I think he struggles a bit. Dirk took him under his wing and let it be known he was the guy for Dallas. Dallas is great with international players and adding KP just made that duo filthy if they hit their potential Also, if they didn't have Fox, they may have drafted Luka. However, since they had Fox they needed a complimentary piece and Bagley fits that deal. I think if he hits his potential he is Amare and Bosh combined. If they drafted Luka with Fox, now you're setting yourself back because you have to deal that piece since they can't work together. Mavs were very lucky to be able to fleece Knicks and get rid of DSJ but that helped because KP wanted to be in Dallas. Long story short, decisions are made and shit happens. It wasn't this easy 1,2,3 pick and sadly for Bagley he's injury prone so he can't prove his worth. I think he will one day but not in a Kings uniform.

I wish he would have stayed at ISU, he was building a great program there. But he wasn't working in Chicago at all. Boylen is just incompetent. Boylen and Fizdale are proof that basically anyone can coach in the NBA.

Derrick Jones Jr. of the Heat was stretchered off the court I hope it's nothing serious. Meantime, Pacers/Heat is likely going to be a pretty physical series.

Thank god. Jones is such a rare athlete even for the NBA. Still coming into his own as a player, but some of the things he does defies geavity.
And one of the last great live events with fans was that dunk contect he "won", what a great weekend that was. Feels like it wasn't this season, like the 2018 dunk contest or something.
