Miami with money to spend may well become a destination this off-season. I wonder if they visit the CP3 trade again, tho I don't think they need him and he would have to give up some of that $40 mill contract They going try to bring Dragic and Crowder back on the cheap but you know Pat Riley going play this smart. Wouldn't be surprised if they wait on seeing if they can get Giannis after next season

I really hope Giannis doesnβt take the easy way out and demand to be traded to a superteam.

I really hope Giannis doesnβt take the easy way out and demand to be traded to a superteam. Giannis won't go to a ready-made super team like KD. He may choose to leave for a team with another star player though. It sucks that the league makes loyal guys like Dame and Giannis look stupid for staying.

He won't go to a superstar team He will go somewhere like Miami where they have a solid team in place and an all star in Butler. I can't blame him. He has been banging his chest about how he wants to stay in Milwaukee Well, Mil got to act the f** right. Executive spent all this money on people like Lopez and Middleton who are decent pieces but you have f**ed the whole payroll doing that He could be like Dame and signs the max hoping they can continue to find ways to put people around him but at least Dame has CJ and Nurkic. It's always the rest the pieces that's been ass

Middleton is fine, but Brook and Bled are aging, slowing, and declining. Granted, Lopez is declining at a lesser rate, neither of them are anywhere near what Giannis needs in a #3 if his robin is so lackluster. Terrible use of their cap. It would take assets to move those guys, and additional assets to acquire needed pieces like a Beal or whomever. I'd would have loved to see Giannis and Klay play together because I think they'd compliment each other very well. But Klay is GS until very late in his career and Giannis will not go there because he doesn't want to be viewed as a bandwagoner like KD.

The Brook deal is modest all things considered and while his footwork is slow, he can still get blocks and shot 3's. He's a good complimentary piece. However, that is compounded by the Bledsoe deal which is bad and Middleton they gave the max to Beal just signed a 2 year deal before the season so in theory he could be in waiting then but that's two more years of having to wait and wasting Giannis prime years. They have no real way to turn this around quickly because this team is a good regular season team, they just need that piece they can't get

If Giannis is 100% about winning he will leave this team in 2021,but not force a trade before then so the team he intends to play on doesn't have to weaken itself in trade to get him

Nobody is beating this Lakers team when their defense is cooking.

WoooHoo!! 2-1 series lead
We figuring out Houston...because Dantoni is a jackass that doesn't know how to adjust and only knows how to play 1 way....Rockets will be better off when he gets fired IMO.
Anyways got scary in the 4th with that car crash moment...Bron catching his thumb on the rim hope everyone is fine.
Lets go boys lets get the next 2 games and finish this series.

Giannis is definitely leaving Milwaukee.
It was fun while it lasted for that city.

Huge win for the Celtics both figuratively and literally. Came out strong from the get go and took the momentum back. Of course the way I'm wired I wasn't comfortable until the 4th Quarter. Still they're back in the driver seat but this series is far from over. Toronto's the defending champions for a reason. They are and they aren't. I mean, the 2015 Heat were reigning ECF champs and nobody spent a thought on them. Granted, the Raptors are a much better team than the Heat were. Point being, they're different teams the next year. Kawhi and Green out, FVV and OG up. I still think this Toronto team was a little bit overrated in the regular season. Boston might be better than them, but the margin is completely negligible. Go .500 the next two games and you're in. Whose your team again? Just curious.... Also, there is a difference between being Eastern Conference Champs in 2015 and being the team that ended the Warriors Dynasty. Overrated, my ass...

The 2020 team had only one loss in the bubble and that was to the team we are facing and having trouble with now. Every other team we faced in this bubble, we beat most of them convincingly (including that much hyped Lakers squad). If we lose, it will be to the one team we dont match up well against because we match up well against everyone else.

This is the first real test the Raptors have had in the playoffs. Also, if you're scoring at home, I don't have an NBA team. I've mentioned it a few times in these threads. I also spent much of last year's thread telling people how amazing Siakam was going to be.
