It's mostly Boston fans and Anti-Raptors fan while the others are TV people who want Boston in for better ratings. No, it's not. Jesus dude. r/NBA. Read up. Bottom line....bad refereeing happens especially in the NBA. And....we're even.

You're desperate to piss me off. If you feel that way, you really dont know shit about basketball. Yeah, like I'm the only one being snarky here. This started because I said I think the Raptors are overrated and you took it as a personal insult. I'm done with whatever this is. But like I said, you dont know basketball if you think the defending champions, even without Kawhi, are overrated. That would be like me saying the Blues this year (despite being eliminated in the playoffs) were overrated.

But like I said, you dont know basketball if you think the defending champions, even without Kawhi, are overrated. That would be like me saying the Blues this year (despite being eliminated in the playoffs) were overrated. The Blues WERE overrated this year! The margin between them and Dallas or Boston was razor thin, but since we won people acted like we were this overwhelming favorite this year. You're not the champs til you lose. This isn't wrestling. You're the champs when you beat everyone else that year. I feel like you keep trying to bait me to be biased (and I believe wrongly assumed I was a Heat fan), but I value objectivity. I don't think of sports only in this local prism. I don't mind at all that you think I "don't know shit about basketball" b3cause you're rarely ever even in here other than to talk about the Raptors. Which is fine, I don't want to dsicourage anyone from posting in here because it's a great discussion. But saying a team is overrated isn't a cardinal sin, and yes, lots of people think that the last minutes of regulation tonight was incredibly poorly reffed. The reason I am barely on here is because I'll be honest, I hate and really cant watch the NBA mostly due to how the refs are, especially when protecting guys and teams they see as stars from facing consequences for breaking the rules (what is travelling anymore), but I decided very early on at around 13 that if I eventually did somehow follow the NBA, it's to be a Raptors fan so I follow the NBA with the Raptors till they get eliminated or win the title. HOWEVER...I do watch college basketball and especially March Madness so I know what being overrated truly is and The Raptors (or the Blues to be honest) are not even close to being overrated. Unless your team completely sucked the next season (hi Nationals), I do believe you are the champs until you lose as calling someone overrated is truly underestimating them and this team is NOT to be underestimated and the Celtics might be learning that the hard way. As far as the refs go....the refs made some bad calls, welcome to NBA reality. They do it both way so shut up about it unless they are doing it an entire game like that infamous Kings-Lakers Game 6.

You don't come in this thread often because of how bad the officiating is, but when I say that the end of regulation was one-sided (and it was), I need to shut up about it? Makes absolute sense. Keep trolling tho. I'm saying "No sh** the refs are bad. As I've shown, the refs mostly screw things up both ways so complaining about it is freaking pointless (especially since the NBA doesn't help themselves because if someone rightfully calls out a mistake, the hammer comes down and fines them)". But continue to think I am trolling you instead of actually having a point that you obviously dont want to listen to.

The only reason this discussion is still going is because you have an axe to grind over me calling your team ovverrated. Please for the love of god and all that is holy just get over it. The reffing was badly one-sided at the end of regulation, otherwise that series is over. Only one sided in one moment. As far as the overrated crap goes, if we lose, I'll shut up about it. But if we win, I will remember that and call you rightfully out on it because being in the conference finals means we are NOT overrated.

Theis with the +1 and Kemba getting fouled by two players in that last possession versus calling a contact foul on the Celtics at the other end. That's more than one moment. What it comes down to is just stop being a little baby over your team being called overrated in my opinion. We're PAGES into this because it's this big deal to you where as if I called the Lakers overrated Fenderbaum is probably just saying "lol, ok." and moving on. This was 3 days ago, dude. Seriously. It's crazy how I can take you saying I personally don't know shit about basketball like it's whatever, but you're into this blood feud over calling your team the word "overrated." I said "overrated, my ass" and when we won, I was originally done with the whole thing, but then you had to made excuses for us winning when really, you were wrong. It's like with me, you cant accept when you were wrong. Other people, you can...but with me, you cant.

We were talking about the officiating before you even came back in the thread, and your reply was a painfully thinly-veiled shot at me. This is all over me saying that I think Toronto is overrated and you thinking that it's a stone cold fact that they are not. I actually want to take this time to apologize to any 3rd party stepping in here actually expecting discussion on games, because you want to drag this out further. It cannot be good reading. 1) You make a statement, you take the blowback no matter what unless someone attacks you personally. 2) You basically said that it was only the refs that helped the Raptors win. If you go back to page 262 when Game 2 happened and I said that the Raptors had a horrible Game 2 die to the horrible AND Marcus Smart's 3 point shooting. Nobody wins or loses a game based on one thing and if you cant realize that, I dont know what to say other than you're dead wrong. 3) I've been on here a few times before this like when I mentioned that I would have preferred Jaque Vaughn being the Nets head coach or when I was giving the Nets credit for not giving up and playing like sh** despite the humongous mismatch in talent.

I have no problem with you disagreeing with my statement about the Raptors. I have a problem with you still drawing it out. I still think they're overrated. But it's not worth 3 pages of discussion that you disagree. That's the problem with this "sports take" culture is that the discussion about the game stopped 40 posts ago.

So hey, how crazy would it be if we get a Lakers-Celtics Finals on the 10 year anniversary of their last Finals meeting? That'd be wild right?

He's played pretty well for LA this postseason. Maybe he could get another triple double in the Finals going the other way.

Funny how Kawhi is going so under the radar
Outside that one bad game, he has been putting up 30 pieces

No one talks ratings in NBA anymore, that's reaching
Raptors are good but overrated team. They deserve all the credit in the world for winning that chip this year and being a scrappy bunch that shows they are still good
However, I still don't equate them to a championship level team. W's are W's tho no matter how they get it

Since the bubble started, the most talk they've gotten is how PG was in a slump. They're still the favorites to me, but there has been more talk about the Lakers. I think it comes down to depth. I'd rather see LeBron win another, but it seems like the Clips have had their kryptonite most of the year. West has largely been chalk so far, despite some interest. If Houston had closed out OKC earlier it'd be as expected.

NBA need to let that go As long as it isn't a case of him pushing her to do it or paying her then they are two adults who can do what they want
