Lakers are in a hard spot... do you give the Nuggets the next game to tie up the series? Or do you dare go up 3-1 and face the juggernaut of pain that is the down 3-1 nuggets?

That's weird tho. Donovan leaves OKC who has a star in SGA and has a ton of draft capital that will only be added to when they move CP3 now that he's solidified his stock again. Leaves that for a team that has been perpetually rebuilding? I like White, and I still have hope for WCJ and Markkanen, but they are very injury prone. They will get one of Wiseman/Avdija/Hayes. Maybe one of these days before LaVine leaves, they can put it all together. But it does seem like this squad tops out at like a 6 seed in the East. Just good enough to keep them from another lottery pick, but never a real contender even in the down East. My assumption is it came down to money. Donovan was the perfect coach for OKC and said he wanted to come back but then that was shut down fast. Stands to reason. If he just wanted too much money, that's on Donovan. But OKC should have valued him given the job he did the past season. Now he goes to a Bulls franchise that has had 10 different coaches the last 22 years. Job security always gets you more money in the long run, but I guess he didn't have that in OKC after all....

I want to say Donovan was at least top 10 paid. He walked away from the Orlando job to go back to college and to go back to the NBA, they was def going have to pay him So, even if for example his salary was at like $6 mill a year. A bump to $8 wouldn't have been unreasonable Looking now not counting Nick Nurse new deal the top 5 paid NBA coaches were: 1. Greg Poppovich - $11 mill 2. Doc Rivers - $10 mill 3. Scott Brooks - $7 mill 4. Rick Carlisle - $7 mill 5. Dwayne Casey - $7 mill I'm guessing OKC wants to go real cheap on EVERYTHING!!!! Spent years paying the tax on teams with Westbrook, KD, George etc so they trying dial it way back

Good coach, but Carlisle at 7 is way better than Donovan at 8. Lol @ Rivers getting paid like Pop.

He should be at $8-9 without question Nurse is sitting 3rd on that list with $8 mill a year. I'm pretty sure Steve Kerr is making like $9 mill too since his original deal of $5 mill ran out I think a year ago Looking now that Billy Donovan contract remains at $6 mill a year for 5 years with the Bulls

Tyler Hero putting in work
I still think Embiid and Miami is a fit if they tried to make that trade but giving up Hero and Bam plus picks would be a little heavy

Embiid is great but getting rid of one half of the Winklevoss twins who’s only 20 and I think can be a legit 18-20 PPG guy and a 22 year old beast in Bam... ehhh, I might do it but don’t love it. Embiid is older and does have that injury history. That’s a trade you make if you’re ready to win tomorrow.

It's who they would have to give up but as good as Embiid as I don't think he is the biggest difference maker to put them in championship contention while taking those two out Miami has cap so luckily for them they can play the waiting game for a year and not give up talent

Celtics got destroyed by a somebody who doesn't look like he's old enough to drive. They couldn't get a stop to save their lives and have been outplayed this entire series. The sense of urgency isn't there. Now Celtics need a miracle.

Bam is already a breakout star. Herro is having one hell of a playoffs. This team has already gone further than the last team with Embiid/Butler as the stars. Hopefully Bam is alright tho.

The sense of urgency isn't there. Now Celtics need a miracle. They haven’t been outplayed the entire series at all. Outside of last night they’ve led the majority of the games but haven’t had an answer when Miami has a guy with a hot hand. Celtics need a big something awful. They have assets to move around and while Thies is serviceable he’s a backup.

Apparently the Sixers are interested in Buddy Hield. To pair with D’Antoni ball if they get him? Probably a match made in heaven. Buddy’s also liking and commenting on the rumors in the comment sections, and removed “Kings” from his bio.
Buddy can’t do anything except shoot though. No defense. Can’t dribble more than once without it going off his foot. I’m sure he’d light up the 3 pointers under MDA, but I wouldn’t miss him at all and good riddance. I hope the new GM man blows the whole team up.
They can keep Fox. Trade everyone else.

Bam just keeps saying "I'm good" about his injury. That's the thing about building a team with a bunch of hungry dogs. Philly seems the antithesis of this.

Tho I don't think that flip makes Philly any better If Kings wanted to hold Philly ass to the fire they can take Horford and make Philly give up like 3 first round picks over the years

This is going to be an interesting offseason. I want nothing to do with Harris, btw. His contract is just awful. He isn’t a max player. Buddy’s is actually around 80mil less I believe.

I would hope the Kings wouldn't take that. I'm sure Philly would love to both get rid of that contract and add a shooter in one move, but you would hope another team would make them pay for that luxury. But it is the Kings FO we're talking about.
