Sucks to work for this, but I did hear the radio call for the last 3 minutes. Sounds like I missed a decent game.

Somebody doubted Jimmy Buckets.
Who are you to doubt Jimmy Buckets?!

I originally predicted Lakers in 6, but I really wanted to be wrong tonight.

Miami still has a chance. Now the Lakers need to end it on Sunday or Mike Ryan is going to be unbearable on Monday lol.

This is one of those situations where Adam Silver must not know what to do. Does he screw over the golden child on Sunday and force a game 7 and the bountiful TV ratings that come with it, or does he lock up a Lakers and LeBron championship on Sunday night and all the storylines that would follow going into the offseason?

As a Spurs fan, I'm just glad another team is getting to experience the unpredictable thrill ride that is Danny Green!

Markieff Morris panicked in the closing seconds and pulled a JR Smith.

Markieff Morris panicked in the closing seconds and pulled a JR Smith. Yeah Iβm angrier at him than Danny Green right now.

Markieff Morris panicked in the closing seconds and pulled a JR Smith. I was left speechless by JR Smithβs blunder. But I openly laughed when Markieff Morris just heaved the ball out of bounds tonight. I donβt know which is worse.

You canβt give Miami air to breathe.
Theyβre doing that. They need to end it or shit gets real dicey. This canβt go to 7

Pressure is squarely on the Lakers on Sunday night. Very curious to see how they come out for Game 6. I feel like they cannot afford to get off to a slow start again.

Now we get the normal "LeBron should have taken the last shot" takes. Dude had no shot and made the right play and always gets buried depending on a missed shot. The right play is the right play is the right play.
Butler is a weird arc wherehe met LeBron in the playoffs in Chicago with their old team against the juggernaut Heat and got bounced easily. And then a little less easily when the Bulls became 'his team' against Cleveland LeBron. And now finally playing easily his best ball and probably still gets swatted in the end against LeBron in 6 or 7. Reminds me a little bit of Nadal/Fed/Djokovic vs. the field in tennis. These guys: talented, stunningly skilled, playing the tournament of their lives and it just doesn't really matter because you're playing just short of the god of the sport. We'll see how Jimmy Buckets' story ends this year, but I still would bet on LA covering game 6.

Iβve watched that last Laker play many times last night and this morning. Looking back, if Morris puts that pass on the money to AD, he has a great shot to win the title with a hook shot or short jumper.

Lebron made the right call
Markieff saw he had a chance to give it to AD which is again the right call
Danny simply did not make the shot
Markieff just tossed it out of reach of AD
There was no "wrong" play just that things did not fall our way at the end....so lesson here DO NOT GIVE IT TO DANNY GREEN!! just kiddin...maybe.
What has killed us against Miami is we always come out flat footed and have to constantly play catch up...we need to grab the lead immediately and just run away with the game and exhaust their legs as they keep fight to keep ground like they have done to us.

Iβm hoping that in Game 6 they run a lot of guys at Jimmy Butler and tire him out. I feel like he might give out of gas late and the Lakers could put the series away.

We'll see how Jimmy Buckets' story ends this year, but I still would bet on LA covering game 6. My only thing is looking at the play, LeBron really didn't drive with intentions to shoot and once they trapped him that option was off the table anyway. He made the 100 percent correct play tho because it was most likely designed that way with shooters open. Danny (not)Green just didn't hit a make-able shot Miami is playing with house money and if they get off to a hot start, they can continue to put the pressure on L.A. I still think Lakers pull it off tho. This is the biggest LeBron has been a favorite since his first two years in Miami and the damage of Lakers potentially losing this title would be a big black eye to his legacy. LeBron tried to close it out played way you want him to. It is up to the rest of the team to chip in and make it happen cause you can't waste 40 point efforts from him
