Vince probably reads these viewership stats the way he reads social media numbers.
"What do ya mean poor ratings. We had 6.8 million viewers last night, can't you read"

They need to get their ass in gear. SDL on Fox is going to bring a lot of new eyes to the product that might even be convinced to watch RAW too.
If they don't bungle this like RAW 25 then they might secure a new fanbase portion and they can see a rise in the weekly ratings I'm sure. The interest is there. We *want* WWE to be good again. We still talk about their product even if we're not watching. Just... stop being boring so lapsed fans and those of us burnt out want to watch again.
Ugh. So frustrating.

I have to ask...is SD being on Fox really going to bring that many new eyes to the product? Is anyone going to watch that isn't already watching? Usually SD does most of what Raw does in terms of viewers and once MNF starts up Raw is going to take a really bad hit.

The potential is absolutely there. Like, I'm a cord cutter. Even I can watch this live.

I really think SmackDown's viewership is probably going to drop on Fox if anything. They have more potential viewers certainly, but they have millions as it is who can't be assed to watch it, they're moving to Friday nights when the people who actually watch these shows (IE not kids) are a lot more likely to be doing something else with their time, and I can't really see WWE managing to put together a show in 2019 that any sort of new viewer would see and go, "Yeah, I need to watch more of that!"

They're going to make a killing off that one random corner TV at the local sports bar.
