I’m not gonna say this is a work, but Seth did say it wasn’t the last of him vs moxley, I’m sure Seth might be thinking of a future program. Remember when Cena was talking shit about the Rock in 2008? A future Moxley/Black fued would be HUGE, no matter what promotion After what he said Rollins woukd get so much shit for leaving WWE Jericho pretty much would defend wwe like this and look at where he is now, and people are too happy about it to criticize

But Jericho never made statements like his making fun of guys that work outside of wwe.or How much money he makes in WWE. Its not about defending WWE but treating the outside as lesser

Good lord. It's like they're trying to drive people toward AEW.
Russo's declaration that they're in bed together is sounding less and less crazy.

This needs to be said again.
Regardless of if you love working for a company or not, whether you support the workers in said company or not.
A Billion Dollar Company does NOT, DOES NOT, need defending from detractors. To paraphrase someone recently, they’re big boys, they wear big boy pants. They can defend themselves.

Here's my thoughts. I don't care how many shows the WWE does. Seth made that comment like it matters. Yes AEW has only done one show so far. Yes it was very successful but the lighter schedules that AEW said they will have once TV starts is not a bad thing. It doesn't make one better than the other is one brand is doing 4 days worth of shows a week. A lot of wrestlers WOULD like more rest and time with family.
Drawing 5,000 for the last PPV doesn't say a lot on how good you are doing and why so many want to leave the WWE. Now nothing wrong with enjoying your role and Seth being a ME champion, of course he going to be happy but he wasn't also put in situations that made Dean so unhappy there and if your unhappy, there is nothing wrong with leaving and with AEW giving wrestlers a choice so to speak when it comes to making money, it ok because the WWE isn't for everyone. Dean was given a push, but took a major back seat and given a bunch of stuff he hated and all his Ideas went to death ears. Seth needs to understand that he wasn't the one asked to use cancer to gain heat for a man you both work close with or been given a gimmick that he in his words an idiot. If he was allowed to change it and had more freedom. Of course he would stayed and been happy but that not how the WWE is. Jon wants to be something else and he went somewhere that he can be. He happy and thats what matters. Seth your happy in your role and that all that matters and if you where really friends you be happy for each other.

I think Seth is fine in his point. What point is he fine in though? The point of not criticizing a work environment that made you miserable, the point of misrepresenting the complaints, or the point of boiling down someone plunging into a depression from a nightmarish work environment and an endless circus of bullshit with his boss to 'the schedule is hard and he took his ball and went home'?

It really makes you appreciate how well spoken Cena was. Cena would have just been all "yeah, he wanted to move on to other things and that sucks, I think WWE is the best wrestling and the best talent and we're awesome, and I hope he comes back one day."
Meanwhile Seth is trying to live the burn it down life, I guess.

Rollins coming off like a straight up dbag lately. Rollins has always had a dbag quality. Let's not forget the nude photos drama surrounding his then-fiancee finding out he was cheating on her with Zahra Schreiber, who he then continued dating after she was fired for the Nazi imagery on her social media. And the numerous references to female fans as 'rats.'

Said it in the other thread, but having not personally listened to what Rollins said I'm inclined to think he doesn't mean ill toward Moxley, given how much he couched in language in "I love the guy" and all that, but plain and simple, I don't think Rollins is well equipped, apparently, to handle being the company's non-kayfabe mouthpiece, if the past couple of days are anything to go by.

Meanwhile Seth is trying to live the burn it down life, I guess. “I wish them nothing but the best: But my attention is here, at the grandest stage of them all, the WWE. Where we strive to entertain you whether you’re a young or a longtime fan”. You can hear the words pouring out of Cena. The man reeks of a savvy, intelligent, focused, calculated spokesman. He always did. The Benoit ish was trial by fire. And now..well. Here, we are. But I guess, who else is it supposed to be? Roman’s Roman. AJ and DB are over it. It’s just..Seth sucks at it man. He really, really does.

To me, this entire thing has read more like a guy who’s been told he’s losing his spot and wants to suck as much PR dick to try and keep his position than actually trying to defend anything. I’ve long held the belief that WWE wrestlers should stay the absolute f*** away from Twitter, but if this is Seth’s genuine attempt to be positive about the company, man, somebody needs to be put in charge of his account.

I mean he did take his ball and went home and they treated him like royalty on the way out. It’s always cool to have people shit on the wwe and Vince in general and that’s all heroic. But if someone defends they are automatically douchebags. My work depresses me when I leave I’m not going to trash my boss on Facebook because I’m not the president of his company.

You're 100% wrong, but kay.

As I expected, here's what Meltzer said on WOR about this thing
It's like I've been saying since this came out, it's clearly a "Rock buries Austin" type of thing. That's Vinny Mac not Colby Lopez. It also explains how Rollins went from "I'm excited for whatever he does next even though my heart's broken now, you'll see us together again" to what he said here. The thing is people didn't look at it that way and only looked at it on a surface level.
That's just classic Vince stuff.

How did take his ball and go home? By fulfilling his contracrual obligations and putting over talent in his last months?

You're 100% wrong, but kay. Went out better than a lot of people do. He’s handled it so well with his classy pictures afterwords too. If anyone handled the whole thing like a douche it’s him but let’s blame the big bad WWE for it.

WWE tried to treat a talented dude like a clown and they stiffed him out the door.
Jon Moxley did everything the right way and handled his business professionally. That's the end of it. Any other telling is typical Stand Up For WWE Defense Force.
