My dad used to take me to all kinds of movies that I was not age appropriate for. Basically he’d just take me to movies he was interested in, age restrictions be damned.
I remember when the original American Pie came out on VHS he rented it and we watched it, but he fell asleep during it. He was sleeping during that part where Shannon Elizabeth walks around naked for like 10 minutes. When he finally woke up he said he missed so much of the movie he needed to rewind. When that scene came up again I pretended to be reading the text from my drinking glass which had a tiny newspaper printed on it. But that scene went on forever so when I finally looked up he scolded me for it. I then told him the scene was going on for like 10 minutes so I couldn’t just look at the floor the whole time. Also, I guess he couldn’t figure out that while he was sleeping I already watched that whole scene.
Another one was he took me to see Old School at the movie theater. I was so thankful we were in the movie theater so my dad couldn’t give me crap about all the crude stuff that movie had in it (remember this is a movie he wanted to see). However, when that Andy Dick scene came up where he’s teaching blowjob lessons using a dildo my dad couldn’t contain himself. He turned to me put his finger in my face and exclaimed, “Dirty movie!”

Went with my mom to see Titanic at age 11.
Uh...yeah....we didn't talk about the "draw me like one of your French girls" bit

My dad walked in on American History X right as THAT scene was happening.

Something like that happened when I went with my family to see Jackie Brown. Even at the age of 11, I had grown accustomed to R-rated movies, as long as I am not watching dirty scenes (Though I had seen some before, more on this in a bit). I remember there was a brief sex scene with Robert De Niro and Bridget Fonda. The card said "five minutes later" and some moaning was heard. My mom immediately covered my eyes.
However, a funnier story had happened before that. I was with my sister and my cousins and we watched Desperado. It came to the sex scene. One of my older cousins grabbed the VCR remote and tried to put it in slow motion but we were all whispering to try to get the remote control from my cousin. Then my mom walked in and was all, "Ohhhhh, no wonder you were so quiet!"

Not me, but I loaned my mom and stepdad my Wolf of Wall Street dvd a while back. Now, my mom is no prude, nor is my stepdad. They love raunchy, bathroom humor, stepdad loves violent movies, etc.
So I go to their house and I ask if they watched it. They said they did, and this hilarious exchange happened:
Me: That was a good movie, wasn't it?
Stepdad (smiling): Yeah. Mom (same time): NO!
Haha.

Not a movie, but the most uncomfortable thing I remember as a teen was watching Whose Line Is It Anyway? With my mom, who is very puritanical to say the least, and we were both enjoying the episode and laughing together which usually didn't happen since any offensive thing would have her telling me to change the channel. Anyway, there was the game with Colin Mochrie in front of the green screen doing a news report, but this time it was just sexy women in bikinis coming in and out of the water. It seemed to go on forever while I just knew she was going to be mad and say I shouldn't be watching that. She actually didn't tell me to turn it off or anything, she just got up and left and never said anything. But the whole time they were showing that I was holding my breath and probably blushing.

Not a movie but a video game.
I remember me and two of my friends were playing one of the old Smackdown games. We would take turns fighting against one another. Normally we had ladder matches, HIAC that kind of stuff.
It was the turn of my friends to play so I was watching and they decided to play the bra and panties match which we NEVER played. Of course this was the same time my father decided to come into the room and sit down and watch us play.
He hasn't a clue about wrestling and zero interest so you can imagine how a game with two women tearing their clothes off looked to him. It was so embarrassing. I just laughed awkwardly the whole time.

Whos line was one of my favorite shows back in the early 2000’s but some of their games were kinda embarrassing to be watching with family . I remember my Mom telling me stop watching as wrestling was bad enough

My dad also took me and my HS friends to see 8-Mile and there’s the sex scene but my dad may have hooting and hollering, the goofball. I got embarrassed watching Scary Movie 4(3?) and PS I love You in theaters. Like for myself. Like what am I doing.

I watched Avengers Endgame 2 weeks after it's release with a buddy and his fiance (who hadn't seen it yet)... and every time a character appeared for the first time she said a variation of "WOW/OH LOOK/HERE COMES/YES IT'S INSERT-EVERYBODY-HERE". I swear to god you could hear everybody in the theater grind their teeth.
I got so embarrassed after about 20 minutes that I pretended to go to the bathroom and then returned and sat in the far back corner. Afterwards I made the bullshit excuse of "sorry I got the shits and was going in and out the whole movie"
edit: And yes she ended up doing it for the whole movie.

One time I got invited to go by one of my friends to see "Nick and Nora and the Infinite Playlist" (or something to that affect). It turns out it was actually a date between him and his girlfriend (and eventual wife)... We used to always see movies together, so this was probably his way to get me to meet/know her... And they spent the entire movie, almost, making out right next to me... And we were the only people in the theatre, it was odd.
When it comes to actually movies being embarrassing... I tried to watch "Freddy Got Fingered" with my brother cause I thought he would find it funny, instead he just had a look of abject horror on his face through parts of it.

I was eager to see the Watchmen movie which came out on my birthday that year and my dad insisted he come with me to see it. I was mortified when the sex scene between Night Owl and Silk Specter started.

Not me but I took my girlfriend at the time to go see Rob Zombies Halloween, and sitting 2 rows in front of us was a group of teenagers (about 13-14) and one of their moms. Well the first time tits came out the mom loudly tells her son to cover his eyes, and she said it loud enough for the whole theater to hear it, everyone laughed especially his friends and man did that kid just sink into his chair hoping to phase through the floor and be anywhere else.

Me and a close friend were watching the movie Wet Hot American Summer in my bedroom one day. There's a gay sex scene in that movie. Like, you don't see anybody's bits, but there's grunting and stuff. I quickly turned the volume down and hoped no one walked in on me and my buddy sitting on a bed together watching two dudes get down on TV.

Last time this happened was watching GI Joe The Rise of Cobra with my ex. She knew I loved GI Joe and gave the movie a shot, by the time we got to Sienna Miller vs. Rachel Nichols fight scene in The Pit, she turned to me and said "well we're done with this movie." My acceptance of this and switching to something else was a combination of "yes, this movie is not great and I wish we'd just watched the animated movie instead" and "yes, I know you can't stand the thought of me looking at other women even in a movie setting while you sit next to me texting your oddly numerous guy friends" We were not meant for each other in any sort of long term basis, and I know that now...
