Enzo's gone Full-Dixie... You can never go Full-Dixie sug... Quit hatin' All jokes aside, depression sucks and I'm happy that he got his act together. I appreciate him opening up like that, he might help someone else thru that. He sounds like a well spoken, mature man. Hopefully he gets another big run somewhere.

If he can get right and wants it.... he'll get another shot. You can't teach size and he has plenty of that.

The wrestling industry has a lot of stuff it needs to sort out, but one of the top ones is a healthy dialogue on mental health and addiction. How many guys have close call stories like this? And how many of them aren't around to tell any stories at all? Too many. Too goddamn many. Meltzer has actually been on this huge kick for about 6 months now about how the wrestling business has a higher then average amount of mental illness but it’s still too much of a “boys club” for anyone to publicly admit it and start an open dialogue. When the NFL hired people for that recently, Dave kinda lost his shit and was basically “There is no f***ing reason this support isn’t being offered to WWE talent”.

Just noticed that this posted on the DDP Yoga channel. So Cass was smart in two ways here. One for baring his soul and being so open with his struggle with depression, which from personal experience is one of the best things that you can do so as not to drown in your own self-sorrow, and two for reaching out to DDP for help. The man was able to save Jake Roberts and Scott Hall so he's one of your best choices to reach out to.

I wonder how much of this has to do with his injury/wrestling career, and how much has to do with Carmella leaving him for Corey Graves.

If wrestling is where he’s supposed to be, I hope he finds the right place. Otherwise, hope he is able to keep the focus on his happiness. He’s a brave dude to bring this all forward. Hope he stays feeling good.

He’s absolutely correct, depression is very much a disease. I’m really happy to hear he’s getting help, because I know about that feeling of beings hesitant to even admit you have a problem in the first place.

Hey all power to the big guy. Hopefully he gets a second chance in WWE some day. If he gets his head on straight, he's got the physical tools to do it.(And I say that as someone that wasn't a fan of his), but even strictly for his personal life and well being, I'm rooting for him.

Lets be serious,Vince is probably the type of person that doesnt think of it as an illness and that you just need to toughen up.

Not to "us vs them" on the subject, but seeing AEW work with groups like KultureCity (or even working closely with people like DDP) gives me hope that they're going to offer this kind of support for those who have been struggling within their own ranks. As long as someone out there is setting the bar, the others can use it as an example and potentially follow, and taking that first step is as crucial as offering a broader scope coverage of such things.

I haven't looked, does DDP have any kind of official position within AEW? Even as just a wellness consultant, having "one of the boys" in that kind of position could do wonders for the locker room.
