Those two should have signed a pre-nup. That other chick magnet from Chicago could've told him that.

Until more info comes out, I'm going to guess it's a counter-suit against Cabana's suit. But why even do that? Did Colt's lawsuit to Punk slander him SO much? Sheesh.

I said before that I had a feeling this was coming. The only thing surprising to me is that it took so long to happen.

I wish Colt would have a time machine so he could go back and edit ten minutes away from the podcast. Itâs bullshit that he has to go through litigation again. I hope AEW offers him a job so he can survive this bullshit.

Man, has ONE podcast episode ever caused this much shit? Poor Colt, he did right by a friend, and all he did was get f***ed for it.

It was Punk's fault he got sued in the first place. I have never seen someone who was so incapable of taking the high road in my life. How many of his friends does he not talk to anymore? Like, this is not socially normal ....? Happens all the time with people falling out. Punk's had, like, three or four public falling-outs. His friend-pool wasn't down to three or four people.

This whole thing just reeks of miscommunication and neither wanting to let it go.
I think Punk said he would cover costs, Cabana understood it would be all costs. Cabana then demanded it all and instead of accepting to be partially covered he sued for it all.
Now Punk is mad that Cabana would sue him and wants all of his money back.

Flash forward to my 60th birthday when the Earth has succumbed to climate change
Colt Cabana amended his lawsuit and is attempting to file it once more

I'd imagine this is mainly Punk trying to stop Cabana from filing anymore lawsuits. I'll drop my lawsuit if you drop yours, situation.
I have no idea who's in the right and who's in the wrong here (it's probably both of them) but it's sad to see these lawsuits and issues still carrying on. I wish they could sort their issues out without resorting to lawyers.

If Colt already owes six figures in legal fees I don't see much of an invective for him to compromise with Punk.

I think thatâs probably closer to the truth than whatâs been put out there. Both of them are very much about their money. I think Colt really pissed Punk off for asking for a million on top of what he was already asking for. I figured Punk would be coming for him and now he is. I donât see either one budging so itâs up to the courts at this point.
