Come on batteries... screen is starting to fade but I'm so close to that save. Crap the battery light went out! The sound is going... come on reach for it....

I owned a game gear, those things ate batteries like it was going to save the earth if they hit a certain amount.
but yeah batteries died at the wrong time on Gameboys.

The Lynx was almost as bad as the Game Gear. I rarely played my Gameboy using batteries. I would have it plugged into the wall or cig lighter in the car.

So, so many times when I was playing Pokemon Red/Yellow/Gold, or Paper Boy and King of the Ring (those themes tho!) Wish they had some warning system, but I likely would have played too long anyway. It's more of a me problem.
