I have a lot of fondness for the guy. Glad he's seemingly finding a niche post-wrestling, just since his body is obviously not what it once was.

I'm still miffed that he made Sabu tap out, but the Make-A-Wish stuff he did/does is incredible.

One of my ten favorite wrestlers ever. I’ve seen only a handful of wrestlers who could have entertaining and often epic matches with such a wide variety of styles in their opponents, and he eventually became one of them. People like Flair, Randy Savage, Manami Toyota, Misawa, Bryan, Styles, Austin, Mutoh, HBK, Tanahashi, Okada and yes, Cena are IMO all in that elite tier of in-ring storytellers. He uses a very “big cartoon superhero” style of match, but he’s versatile enough to make it work so often. The Make-A-Wish stuff and him being naturally charismatic doesn’t hurt either. This post Sorry, forgot Bret, he’s also in my top ten. I love too many wrestlers.

I quite liked early Generi-Cena. With the colourful tights and doing the Stinger Splash he seemed like a bit of a throwback to that sort of style, and I was half expecting him to start putting on facepaint.
