Ring of Honor “Supercard of Honor X: Night 2”
April 2nd, 2016
From the Hyatt Regency in Dallas, Texas
Commentators: Kevin Kelly and Mr. Wrestling #3
Tonight: Roderick Strong verses Bobby Fish in a Best 2 out of 3 Falls Match (oh boy, I can’t wait) and Adam Cole verses Kyle O’Reilly in a No Holds Barred Match.
Jay Lethal comes out and says there are many people more deserving of a shot at the Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Championship other than Colt Cabana, such as Cheeseburger. So he tells Cheeseburger to come out if he’d like a title match right now.
For the Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Championship
Jay Lethal (champion) w/Taeler Hendrix vs. Cheeseburger
This was more competitive than expected.
Winner: Jay Lethal
Colt Cabana comes out and challenges Jay Lethal to a match right now. Lethal walks away but Cabanas goading brings him back in the ring.
Jay Lethal w/Taeler Hendrix vs. Colt Cabana
This was a quick match and Colt made Lethal look like a bit of a bitch. It did its job to further their storyline at the time, which was ultimately just a tool in the Bullet Club coming to Ring of Honor. They could have done a lot more with this but, you know, t-shirts.
Winner: Colt Cabana
The All-Night Express vs. ACH & Matt Sydal
Even though I think I’ve seen this same match close to one hundred times this was still very good.
Winners: ACH & Matt Sydal
Joey Daddiego joins the commentary team for the next match.
Will Ferrara vs. Donovan Dijak w/Prince Nana
This was pretty much a squash but Ferrara did get a bit of offence in. Dijak looked good and Ferrara gave a good “never say die” performance but there were some badly blown spots towards the end.
Winner: Donovan Dijak
Dijak and Nana did the stupidest victory pose after this match. It was kinda like “I’m a little tea pot”. I’ve never seen them do it before and I haven’t seen them do it since. As they leave Joey Daddiego leaves commentary and attacks Dijak.
The Cheeseburger t-shirt ad that never gets old.
2 out of 3 Falls Match
Roderick Strong vs. Bobby Fish
I guess this is making up for any of the DVDs I have where Roderick Strong wrestled in multi-man matches? This was good but watching this ensured I won’t be watching NXT any time soon. It was hard to make out what the commentators had to say, what with Roderick Strongs dick in their mouths.
Winner: Bobby Fish (2 falls to 1 fall)
Motor City Machine Guns t-shirt ad.
P-Dog w/his entourage vs. Moose w/Stokely Hathaway
I will say it was pretty funny when P-Dogs entourage threw all the previously thrown streamers that were lying around on the floor into the ring for him. I’m not even sure this was a match because the bell never rang and there was no referee in the ring. Moose just beat P-Dog and the entourage up.
Winner: Moose?
For the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championships
Silas Young & the Beer City Bruiser vs. War Machine (champions)
This was a lot better a match than I expected. Yeah, Silas still counted the lights but everyone looked good. I think Silas may have suffered a concussion performing a moonsault towards the end.
Winners: War Machine
Adam Page joins the commentary team for the next match.
BJ Whitmer vs. Dalton Castle w/the Boys
This happened.
Winner: Dalton Castle
Afterwards Adam Page berates BJ Whitmer. He calls for a San Antonio Street Fight against BJ on April 23rd.
Four Corners Survival Match to determine the Number One Contenders for the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championships
The Addiction vs. the Briscoes vs. Motor City Machine Guns vs. the Young Bucks
This was a really fun match but I feel it could have and should have been way better. Something was missing.
Winners: the Briscoes
Kenny Omega t-shirt ad. I still wish I’d have bought that “Cleaner” shirt.
Stokely Hathaway and Moose are in the ring to inform everyone that when the New Japan Championship Wrestling talent join Ring of Honor in May Moose will team with Okada.
No Holds Barred Match
Kyle O’Reilly vs. Adam Cole
I just don’t f***ing care about this match. A No Holds Barred Match should be something that excites me but two of my least favourite guys are in it and I didn’t really expect anything other than maybe a DDT on to a chair. The commentators tried their hardest but there was no hiding that this was two dweebs out of their elements.
Winner: Kyle O’Reilly

DVD bonus features:
Shaheem Ali & Ken Phoenix vs. Shane Taylor & Keith Lee
This was okay. It was a squash, as usual.
Winners: Shane Taylor & Keith Lee

Dalton Castle visits a cat cafe in Tokyo
_______________________________________________________________________________
There was nothing wrong with this show but it just felt long. I liked the beginning with Lethal and Cabana, the match with Silas and the Bruiser against War Machine was really good and the P-Dog segment was way more entertaining than P-Dog ever should be. The last two matches were definitely two of those matches where you probably had to be there to really enjoy it.
It wasn’t a bad show, it wasn’t a good show; it was a show.
