And if you check her social media, she gets way more fan support than she does hate. You could possibly make the argument she's second only to Becky there. Just not a good look on somebody who usually carries herself very well.

Yeah, I truly don’t understand why people online get so angry/disappointed at the wrestlers for voicing their personal frustrations; Same shit happened with Seth as well. Like, yeah they’re characters, but they’re also humans underneath those characters. She isn’t demanding anyone to enjoy the match, but she personally felt slighted that the match got shat on. On top of that, she gets shit from podcasters, fans, Twitter DMs, etc. I’m surprised it’s took her this long to crack tbh. It really isn’t that big of a deal since it’s her opinion. For me it's more this really isn't the time to be lashing out at fans (even if it is the more volitale ones). There's a huge amount of negative light on the company right now that's a lot stronger than just the onscreen prouduct not being good, so attacking the few fans they haven't yet drove away seems very counter-intuitive. You can't even say "well she probably just got vile DMs and hit a breaking point" here because she's specifically addressing the (apparently very mild) crowd. The people that paid tickets. That's not smart no matter how you slice it. Plus, there's more alternatives than there have been in a long time. New Japan has been expanding westward, AEW will be starting TV broadcasts in October, and IWTV is putting more eyes on the indies. You tell the fans to go somewhere else, well guess what? They've got plenty of "somewhere else" to go to.

I kinda want to print that quote and post it on the wall. I think it should be in every pro wrestling locker room. I think it should be in every locker room everywhere. And any place of employment. Hell, put it on our money. That is a great quote.

She has a right to her opinion and so do the fans but their is one of her and hundreds of them
She had a meltdown, generally she keeps a cool head so I have no problem with it and won’t act like it is the worst thing in the world. She will be fine and the fans will still watch so it’s a wash

Just not a good look on somebody who usually carries herself very well. Even with live crowds she's someone that hasn't had to deal with much negativity often even getting face pops despite being a heel her entire main roster career. Even smark crowds give her positive reactions which is surprising as you would think she would be someone they would hate with her being a fairly limited wrestler and a chosen one. Charlotte has got way more hate despite being a much better wrestler.

One part that interests me is that even at MITB 2018, people remember how over Becky was but forget that Alexa was super-over that night as well.

Was watching her 365 doc earlier (a great watch) and she mentioned something about feeling insecure about her job while she was out injured. Not saying it makes the tweets right or that she should even feel that way because they obviously love her, but I'm guessing those feelings started coming up again when the crowd shit on her terrible match.

You cannot blame the fans, even if they are wrong, it just comes off as a really bad look. This isn't the first time they've done this and it's not only the women. I mean, I remember very distinctly the crowd shitting all over a bad DEAN AMBROSE vs SETH ROLLINS match

Considering there have been crowds who’ve literally said that they f*** male talent and went person to person...that’s a massive improvement. Like, I get the sentiment but at the same time, it isn’t charity. You either encourage people to tell you if something sucks or you don’t. WWE doesn't have that filter, they encourage people to tell them if something is bad, including Vince himself, and then the same people slap at the fans who complain and tell WWE what is wrong with the product It's insanity, many board members have said they have never seen a company more spiteful towards their own fans and reason for being than WWE and it's starting to bite them in the ass hard. I think people don't realise that wrestlers aren't robots. You can't say tp someone that their body of work is awful over and over and then when they snap a little, get angry back talking about free speech and they meant it for their boss. Their boss isn't out there working in the hot sun hearing about how awful his body of work is day after day. Instead we get the usual "we are fans so don't have to be considerate" rhetoric here that often crops up. Except for serious issues like womens rights or deaths.
