{Spoiler}Young Avengers in the comics was initially Iron Lad (Kang), Patriot (Elijah Bradley), Hulkling (Skrull/Kree), Stature (Cassie Lang), Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), and Wiccan (Witches kid), with Speed (other Witches kid) added later. Later members include America and maybe Ms Marvel (not sure).
So far we have Elijah in FatWS, Kate Bishop, Cassie, America, and Kamala. We have seen the Witches kid but how to bring them in I dont know. Secret Invasion could introduce Hulkling. And Iron Lad is easy now that Kang has been introduced. {Spoiler}Kid Loki is in play, too, who also joined Young Avengers in the comics.

I only read the first 12 issues so I am mostly familiar with the original team.
Vision is out there too. Would not really fit the young part though.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}Looks like they are setting up a Young Avengers with Kate Bishop, Yelena Belova, Ms Marvel, America Chavez And I know there not as young.. Bucky, Falc Cap America and She Hulk.. and possibly Ant Man’s daughters. So yeah maybe they a worm hole or something will age her up and bring her in. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}Young Avengers in the comics was initially Iron Lad (Kang), Patriot (Elijah Bradley), Hulkling (Skrull/Kree), Stature (Cassie Lang), Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), and Wiccan (Witches kid), with Speed (other Witches kid) added later. Look for Yelena to be in the announced Thunderbolts movie, most likely. {Spoiler}I’m guessing Kate would be the leader here, unless they want to use whatever Young Avengers project to build up Eli as the Patriot and have him be leader.

So I saw this yesterday, but I've kinda been avoiding talking about it in this thread until I could get a better grasp of what I thought of it. It wasn't a bad movie. I mostly enjoyed it. But I could see why people would have issues with it. {Spoiler}Say what you want about the humor in Ragnarok, but all the scenes in it felt like they were there to advance the story. They were just punched up with some jokes. I can't say the same for Love and Thunder. It just felt like there were a lot of scenes that weren't necessary, but just there for awkward humor. I mean, all that stuff at the beginning with the Guardians of the Galaxy honestly just felt pointless. It wouldn't even be so bad, but the humor only landed for me maybe half the time. Then there were other silly things that I just couldn't get into, like Thor's child army at the end.
I was glad to see both Darcy and Sif back, really wish the movie would've done more with them though.

Still haven’t watched it. Definitely reviews from each side of the spectrum. Divisive, to say the least. It’s got me wondering how Taika Waititi and his Star Wars movie goes.

I really liked it, it's what I want out of Phase 4 with the veteran heroes, covering up lose ends from Endgame, and putting them in a new position for the future, and they did that well, and with the after credits, even set up the next Thor film or confrontation.
The humor wasn't as nuts as I thought it'd be by critics, nor do I think Thor was made to be as "dumb" as critics said either, he wasn't an idiot and honestly did a lot of things in the film that I thought were damn logical. Some of the humor bits I can get not being everyone's cup of tea, but I feel like the films tone was well done, and the story it told was pretty direct.
Also the nitpicked screenshots to say the special effects were bad imo did not reflect on the full screen in full action imo, film looked great.

Just got back. First off, my previews were Strange World, Beast, Nope and Avatar Overall, I'll put "Love and Thunder" just behind "Ragnarok" and give it a B-. It wasn't horrible, but I felt like the pacing was bad, they tried too hard to follow the "Ragnarok" recipe and the movie was just sort of there to tie up loose ends. Previous MCU films made you feel like they were working toward something and you at least felt like they served a purpose and helped you understand the bigger picture. "Love and Thunder" was just sorta there. There was also just way too much deus ex machina {Spoiler} Heimdall has a kid who can communicate from afar
Jane suddenly hears Mjoiner and is in New Asgard
Sif exists and knows Gorr is going to New Asgard
Zeus exists
Everyone knows how to use Zeus' lightning bolt
Jane knows how to get to Gorr's world and right on time
The kids can have the power of Thor

Not quite as insane as Ragnarok was, but I enjoyed it a lot.
Bale killed it as Gorr. He felt very DC-ish, and I a mean that in a positive light because that and the monochromatic sequence made for a nice contrast with the MCU colorful bombast.

I basically loved it. It's no Ragnarok (nothing will be for me, I love that movie so much that it's unfair to any of the others), but it was more or less what I was anticipating it'd be. I'm a big fan of Taika's, so I went into it knowing what I'd be getting, and knowing I'd enjoy it.

But honestly, I'm here for it. Loki and Thor's ongoing relationship is one of the few in the MCU that I'm actively engaged in. All that said, Hemsworth has said he doesn't want his daughter to be a child actress, so either the kid won't be in future movies or they'll recast.

One important highlight I should have mentioned is the return of a major character. {Spoiler} Asgardian Matt Damon as "Loki" and himself!
That scene was very reminiscent of Thor 4D.

Really liked it. A little behind Ragnarok for me. Not a bad song in the flick.

Since it takes place in The Shadow Realm, does that mean Yu-Gi-Oh is canon to the MCU?

So, hung out with a friend and on a whim decided to watch it. It was that or Everything Everywhere All at Once, which I’ve heard good things about but I wasn’t in the right mindset for. What a mess of a f***ing movie. That being said…I kind of f***ing like it? Adore it perhaps even? But it’s a mess and a weird, weird movie. I teared up at the end. Can’t say I dislike a flick that gets that out of me I think the biggest problem is the overall tone for a good chunk of the flick is zany. Saturday morning cartoon-esque. And the humor isn’t even “Ha Ha funny” moments, it actually comes off kind of sardonic. As if it doesn’t take its own source material seriously. This makes it difficult to connect and invest in especially when shit starts hitting the fan and the movie goes in a bunch of different ways. I personally loved the rom-com aspect. I love rom-coms. Hemsworth and Portman have always had great chemistry. Bale f***ing kills it, obviously. The second he gets done with his first monologue there’s such a disparity in his acting with pretty much everything else that’s cold from the MCU. It actually got to the point when he had his action scene I was like “no, go back to the acting” lol. One moment in particular (at the end) I’m just watching, waiting to see Bale’s reaction to something. That’s how you know you’re killing it acting-wise, when I’m anticipating an acting reaction in a blockbuster like this. ..that being said, all that stuff is heavy! Lol and quite dark. Again, it’s all very, very jarring. I used a kid who was sitting next to us as a barometer. She loved and was enthralled when {Spoiler}Thor lit up the kids or whatever. Great, great scene btw, but this kid is just all excited and you can tell she connects to it , so I think to myself “well, this IS meant for kids..” but the romcom shit ain’t aimed at them. And the death and Godly themes are certainly dark and heavy for them. The same child was obviously tense and seemingly sad and confused during {Spoiler}some of the cancer scenes and death scenes at the end . I’m really curious how a lot of kids will take and remember this flick. The closest comparison I can think of is slightly like Tim Burtons stuff back in the day and even that’s a stretch to compare. Crowe was great. Portman was great. Hemsworth is his usual charismatic self but I think he could have been reigned back a bit in the beginning. At least the direction of his character. Overall, Taika Waititi and his direction should have been reigned back for a good portion of the film. Creatively, it seemed like he had carte blanche, which for an artist like Waititi is good and bad at the same time. I kind of love it. But it’s such a weird, hot mess movie. {Spoiler}was that zoomer groot? Oh god I hope we get zoomer groot.

As far as a certain credits scene… {Spoiler}…Thor and Hercules are totally gonna throw down and then bond over their daddy issues with both of them being dicks. Hercules is totally the guy that would join the Avengers just because Odinson bought him some beer.
