The PAC-12 has joined the B1G in postponing their season to the spring.

Well I for one am totally glad that the president chimed in to let us know it would be a shame if there were no college sports this year.
Yup, screw those guys and their health. Entertain us clowns!

There won't be a College and NFL season NFL is still gonna try. SEC might as well. They shouldn't. We knew the B10 and Pac 12 since Sunday, it's just official now. ACC will probably cancel, but Clemson is already throwing a big hissy fit about it. It's just not feasible. Especially with the NCAA that have always been high and mighty about wanting what's best for their "student-athletes" (aka cash cows), and how they're amateurs and students first and their health is paramount. They've postured for decades on their games being amateurism (to maintain profits) and safety, but now they have to cannibalize one of those because the athletes are asking for greater resources in order to play. NCAA can afford to give them both, but won't.

Really messed up that he used the word "tragic" when many people have lost their lives or loved ones of the virus, and no one is gonna die of lack of college football.

I dunno...Alabama exists...itβs possible the state spontaneously combusts. Our entire humble economy is based on the profit of the use of the phrase "Roll Tide." We're not sure how it makes money either, but sure as you're standin there, our infrastructure will collapse without it I reckon.

We're all lucky that me and andrew8798 have been preparing for this for years. This fall, we're all gonna watch 3am weekend Japanese college football! The reddit has the links.

I'm halfway expecting College Football to be a bunch of schools in Texas and Florida playing in their own state, and then the National Championship Game will be the best Texas School vs the best Florida School.

Nebraska wants to play in another conference this year. They know their best chance to be ranked top 25 is when only 29 other teams are playing.

Nebraska wants to play in another conference this year. They know their best chance to be ranked top 25 is when only 29 other teams are playing. I thought the true Nebraska Way was to win your first couple games (against directional schools and then Big 10 jobbers like Rutgers), get ranked in the Top 25 then go like 1-5 and shit the bed. Nebraska going to the SEC for a year would be hilarious. Their first game would be against a bottom feeder and they'd win by 30. Then spend the week bragging "BIG RED IS BACK BITCHES! SEC DOESN'T HOLD A CANDLE TO THE BIG 10" Then play LSU and lose 72-3.

You know, looking at JaMarcus Russell in an old college game on TV and he looks great. Great arm, quick release, even mobile enough to avoid the rush. I at least get why he went #1.
WTF happened?

JaMarcus Russell happened. Some people can dominate against geeks but when you have to run with the big dogs, they can't keep up.

Had a shitty attitude and work ethic. Didn't watch game tape, wasn't the most thorough on the playbook, and couldn't keep his weight down. Which, even if he did all those things well, he could bust. Some dudes are just better prospects than they are pro football players *cough*Reggie Bush*cough*. But it's hard for QBs in the NFL to be successful if you don't know the playbook inside and out, and coverages inside and out. There's a lot of moving pieces out there, so it's real easy to look stupid. Doesn't help that the Raiders at that point hadn't developed a young QB since.....since...damn, not even sure. Kenny Stabler?
