I personally always thought that, instead of Blade, they should do a monster hunters/"Midnight Sons" movie featuring Blade but with Dr. Strange as the lead. They could also use Elsa Bloodstone as well. They could have done Blade,Elsa,Jack, Man Thing and Strange fighting Black Heart or Nightmare

I do really wonder what exactly the holdup is given you could probably make a passable Blade fan film for like a few thousand dollars. You need sunglasses, a trench coat, fake teeth, and some blood, this shouldn't be hard. But why are movies so hard to produce in the 2020's? In the 90's and 2000's, sequels were churned out in rapid succession. Maybe it's because there is really only one major studio producing anything right now, but how many Disney franchises have been stuck in Production Hell for the last half decade?

Maybe it's because there is really only one major studio producing anything right now, but how many Disney franchises have been stuck in Production Hell for the last half decade? It’s because less are being made in general and the ones that are being made are either a) big studio tentpoles that are given too much money in the hopes to make money or b) indie passion projects that are designed for a system the bigger studios aren’t that interested in keeping up. And yeah, A24 exists but that almost feels like an anomoly in comparison to everything else. Some of that is because of mergers, some of that is because of the rush to streaming instead of a slower transition process like the change from VHS to DVD and some of it is just because of big studio greed (which, I mean, always existed, Jack Warner didn’t push his brothers out of Warner Bros for no reason but still!).

They should really go full multiverse and have HHH star as Blade with Wesley Snipes directing.

In general the MCU just seems like such an unfocused scattershot mess where no one has any clue what the hell they're doing at this point. Disregarding the individual quality of the productions, everything right now feels so disjointed and unconnected and pointless with the only real unifying thread behind any of it being, "Um, multiverse I guess? Even then our different multiverse plots don't seem to connect to each other at all." They have too many plot lines all over the place that it’s a little ridiculous. Not even including the actual Multiverse saga thats supposed to reboot the MCU after Secret Wars we’ve got random horror characters showing up all over, a Skrull Invasion that shit on a major Endgame character, Young Avengers plus loose plot lines all over like the Celestials, Sharon Carter and so much more. Just back the Brinks truck to Denzil’s house to play Kang Prime and let’s power through this already.

You need sunglasses, a trench coat, fake teeth, and some blood, this shouldn't be hard. Apparently Ali wants this to be like his Black Panther so that could also play a part in it Yeah, not to take too much blame away from Kevin and Marvel, because the buck ultimately stops with them, but insisting that the "badass who kills vampires" movie be a Black Panther-level cultural milestone has to apply pressure to the creative team. For perspective, the sequel to Black Panther wasn't even "their Black Panther", even with a Best Actress nod. That whole moment was really a once in a lifetime sort of thing. Even so, if you wanted a movie with a Black Panther-like impact, I'd argue that Blue Marvel would've been a better choice.

any movement on casting the new Kang? That's assuming they even do. I'm getting the sense they're instead doing a hard pivot to Galactus.

I mean, with the way Loki ended you can kind of piece together a resolution for Kang. Not a terribly satisfying one, but a future movie could just say "Loki dealt with it" as a throwaway and it would work.

Although Kang has been mishandled and I've never been a big Kang fan in the first place, I do want them to finish the story. Yes, it may not be as hype, but honestly they could build that with a video package not unlike what WWE gives us. Just a cut of people who know about Kang and what he has done and what he represents. Keep in mind that Ultron got far less buildup than this. Loki/the aliens in the first Avengers movie had less build up. I think we forget sometimes that yes Thanos was built up over 3 phases, but that is the outlier. Really though, of all the characters to recast, this one is easiest. At this point they've gone this far with the multiverse stuff, they need to finish the story.

I still think they could've recast Kang with Coleman Domingo and I would've been cool with that.

I still wish they had gone with my idea of making Agatha a Network Television executive.

I couldn't wait for WandaVision and had Agatha closer to that show, I'd probably be excited. Now..... meh. I hope I'm wrong.
