I'm dying to see it, but the character deserves to have a real run at the movies with her own film. It shouldn't have taken this long, but it did, so now do right by her.

Man I really wanna see this movie if only to give ScarJo her sendoff for her tenure in the MCU, but damn at least put the shows out to give fans something.

Making an prediction: the 6:05 SuperPodcast will have it's 5th anniversary episode (plus 5 episodes after it) and (if it's made) Black Widow's What If? episode will come out before Black Widow

I have a bad feeling that we'll see an Asylum Knockoff mockbuster of Black Widow or Falcon of Winter Soldier before the real deal comes out White Tarantula Eagle and Cold Sniper

Gotta line those pockets.
Scarlett already got paid for this, and the bean counters couldn't care less if she "deserves" the big screen sendoff. Any rhetoric from Disney other than "We wanted the rich people who don't actually do any work on the films to get richer, so we delayed this movie" is pretense.
I'm just frustrated, man. Our country bungled the f***ing Covid response, destroyed daily life as we knew it, it's not going back any time soon. We're all being told to adapt and figure shit out and get our feet back on the ground, yet Hollywood are like "f*** you, see ya whenever this is over".

Rich getting richer really shouldn't matter This movie was made for the theater and they spent a massive budget on it. No matter how much money you got, taking a massive L is not something you can shrug off and just say oh well They should get every dollar and cent back they can because this is taking an L, just a matter of how big

Also, like, this is something that’s been annoying me as this has gone on and it needs to be said;
A lot of productions have shut down. A lot of them. Not just for this year but potentially the next 2-3 years too. Many of them don’t have easy ways to come back where they were filming or depending on guidelines and restrictions, I’d honestly argue we haven’t felt the impact of COVID on live action production yet because so many stuff was already in the can from many companies. And they can’t just all be out at once because when they’re gone, they could be done for months, possibly years before they’re able to get more out.
There’s a reason the only MCU related project that hasn’t stopped is What If?. There’s a reason why many companies are getting animated projects off the ground. They’re easier to get produced, cheaper to get started up and there’s a platform ready to go and promotion you can do easily via Zoom or whatever.
tl;dr: Stop acting entitled for the most part when this is a new situation to literally everyone involved. We haven’t felt the real ramifications of it yet.

Another character has returned to the MCU for the shows: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Batroc.
I am impressed by his performance.

I'm having to really rethink my AMC membership. I reactivated it the time that Tenet and New Mutants came out, but now with everything looking to be pushed back again it's like "what'll even be playing for me to pay a monthly fee for?"

I mean you can’t blame them (or I guess you can) but it’s the logical thing to do. Specially with Mulan and Tenet showing the repercussions of releasing in streaming and theaters respectively. Though one could argue an MCU film like BW would fair better...that’s still not saying much. The pushing back to dates is ridiculous though, just say TBD at this point. Also wasn’t the most recent word from experts that it could be another year before theaters could remotely open safely?

I'm guessing the only phase 4 thing to come out this year is What If? (Even if it's only the episode featuring Bozeman's last Marvel performance)

Is anyone else hyped at the casting of Jonathon Majors? Especially if the character hes rumored to be playing is true? I think this was a great coup by the MCU to snag him

And after I had all that talk about productions being shut down, Wandavision was confirmed to be a show that’ll come out in 2020.
Considering there was likely to be not many people involved in shooting, I guess they were able to get stuff back on track and finish it off. So there’s something at least.
No confirmed date but December seems like a really safe bet.

For potentially many hours of cheap ass content, Disney should rip off "Drunk History" and ask Marvel or Star Wars "Historians" generic cannon based questions after giving them a couple stiff drinks.
