I wouldn't be surprised if they don't bring Punisher in out of how people have been using his logo. even though Berenthal was great in the role. Yea, Berenthal himself is at peace with not portraying the character if they want to abandon it since he suggested it I can see them flipping the logo to something diff tho. Throw in some commentary on there about what the logo or new logo means and hope people don't use it for craziness again No doubt whatever they do, they protecting the shit out of there property and threatening anybody and everyone whoever uses it without their say so They can easily put in a scene where Frank pummels a couple of stand-ins for the RL types of people who're co-opting the logo, but spares them and tells them to be better than him and be more like Cap. It'd be really on the nose, but I'd say it'd be justified. Of course, Jack Kirby's son has just put out an announcement decrying the fact that these same types are also trying to co-opt Captain America imagery, so... |

Not to mention the skull symbol has been used long before The Punisher was created

Yea, I assumed they had things under lock with that I assume now is when they start putting foot to asses. One of your own is calling for it and Disney in general can't afford to have their property f***ed with and being put in a bad light You don't want any of your logos being used as a symbol especially when you can stop it now |

Rumor is Micheal B Jordan is coming back as Killmonger in Black Panther 2 That would seem to be the best route to take. Have the movie start with him waking up in the lab, being told T'Challa saved him despite his wanting to die and then going on a redemption arc to become the new Black Panther. |
