Does anyone have any info about Disney continuing to film its Marvel movies and TV shows in Georgia for the foreseeable future? Other companies have been pulling stakes out of the state recently. From the upcoming slate... Thor: Love and Thunder is currently filming in Australia. Captain Marvel 2 is currently in the early stages of production and is filming in New Jersey, London, and L.A. Black Panther 2 is filming in Atlanta and Australia. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is currently filming in Turkey and will later move to London and Atlanta. Ms. Marvel is shooting in New Jersey and Atlanta. Hawkeye is shooting in New York and Atlanta. Moon Knight will shoot in London and L.A. She-Hulk began shooting in L.A. and will finish in Atlanta. Secret Invasion will begin shooting in L.A. All other movies and shows have not had confirmed shooting locations yet. Quite a lot of productions are happening in GA, but it's still surprising to hear nothing from the Mouse when in previous years Disney had no problem sabre-rattling when stuff was happening in the state that the company didn't like. Maybe COVID-19 complicating so much of Disney's plans, from the movies to the parks to the production of content for the streaming service, is the reason the company hasn't publicly announce anything? It's probably cheaper for Disney to stay put and crank these movies and shows out, then leave the state, than leave while in production or pre-production. Which makes the current Marvel TV show on Disney+ that much more relevant and topical.

And I know this because, apparently, She-Hulk’s just stared filming. Also, Feige’s interview at the TV festival was during the Ms. Marvel filming.

As someone that isn't a hardcore comics guy, I don't know anything about Shang Chi and I'm extremely excited for this!

So someone give me a rundown of Shang Chi. He's a character I'm unfamiliar with Master of Kung Fu...originally introduced as the son of Fu Manchu but retconned after Marvel lost the rights...looks like they’ll play a similar angle with him being the Mandarin’s son.

So someone give me a rundown of Shang Chi. He's a character I'm unfamiliar with From what I remember the basic breakdown is raised to become an assassin but left that life due to his father being evil. He is a master of martial arts Will f** your shit up. If Bruce Lee was a superhero that's who he would be

Meh, that trailer didn’t really do anything for me. Doesn’t look bad, but certainly didn’t hook me.

Damned trailer just has me praying that we see a certain number of Defenders return to their rightful places in the MCU...

Feels there is a definetly Black Panther'esc influence atleast with the story here.
But I will call my shot on this that this is gonna be the MCU movie up to this point with the best fight scenes because the choreography looks f***ing beautiful especially that fight in the forest which they absoloutley looked at Jet Li's movie HERO and pulled from.

My big take away from it as well. The action looks phenomenal. And different, fresh. Perhaps cause Martial Arts movies haven’t been popping as of late but it looks spectacularly different from a lot of the usual, current Wick-inspired stuff.

I REALLY hope that the fight scenes in the city are kept to a minimum I want this to lean way more heavy into that HERO style which is one of if not the most visually gorgeous movie of all time.
