Chelsea’s lack of depth is glaring right now and it’s only going to get worse when the injuries start to pile up.
You don’t wanna read too much into one match and they were unlucky early on, but United just carved them up with pace in the second half.
Kurt Zouma is a much better defender than he played today, but it confuses me that they would sell David Luiz at a very modest fee (to a rival no less) when cover at centre-back is going to be hugely important this season.

And when they can't replace anyone, it sucks, but in their situation, I'd let everyone's contract run down until they can sign new players if it came to that.

much better from st mirren today, in a downpour too, winning 1-0 over aberdeen who do really need to pick themselves up for this weeks europa league second leg game with hnk rijeka rangers have no problems due to them humping hibernian 6-1 no real surprises though in the premiership i thought, though that chelsea scoreline will certainly worry them and feyernoords spluttering start continues with another 1-1 draw, this time at heerenveen oh yeah fc porto losing their first game at gil vicente watched most of the seattle v new england game yesterday too, 3-3 that finished and the ENGLISH FA CUP started this weekend too some big teams in this EXTRA PRELIMINARY ROUND here folks, the likes of THORNABY, BECKENHAM TOWN and ODD DOWN ..... sadly we won't be seeing the team from somerset defeating chelsea in this years competition

It'll be fine, Pep will have a whip round in the lunch room. I'm sure the lads can scrabble together £315K from the loose change in their pockets.

Why can’t the Super Cup go straight to penalties? No team wants an extra 30 minutes in only the second game of the season.

That trophy makes Liverpool the most successful team in English football history with 46 major honours. United have 45.

THE NEW SAINTS - out ABERDEEN - out RANGERS - through to play LEGIA WARSAW WOLVES - through to play TORINO
pretty tough games those two, to get to the group stages, and with CELTIC facing AIK and LINFIELD up against QARABAG ..... might be thin pickings for the brits in the europa league this season

That trophy makes Liverpool the most successful team in English football history with 46 major honours. United have 45. I'm sure the Man United fans are all arguing that the Charity Shield should be included. If that was regarded as a trophy, which it shouldn't! that would make it 66-61 to United. However, I don't regard the Super Cup, Intercontinental Cup or World Club Cup as a proper trophy so that makes it a 42-42 tie in my book
