Incredibly sad news, he was a really underrated player.

A shame but at least I’ll get to keep my tickets. Since all live Sport has been pretty much cancelled now what is the best football game you’ve seen live? I have 3 which are close to my heart Arsenal 4 Everton 0 1998 Last home game of the season when my Dad got the tickets we were nowhere close in the title race so was just happy to go to a game. Then suddenly we started winning every week and catching Man U and if we won this game we would be Champions. My Dad took me and it was a magical day, an early goal put us at ease and the late Adams goal is classic. Amazing to see us win the title and to be there live I was 13 at the time Reading 5 Arsenal 7 (after extra time) 2012 In terms of greatest game this has to be it. 4 nil down in the first half and bemoaning my decision to spend £30 plus travel money to a game in which we were getting absolutely slaughtered in. Walcott managed to get a goal back before half time and we amazingly got an equaliser in injury time before winning it in extra time. Mental game. Arsenal 4 Hull 2 (after extra time) F.A. Cup Final 2014 My first time and so far only (gave my final ticket to a friend a year later when we beat Villa 5-0) at an F.A. Cup final. And I got to see one of the best finals in history. 2 nil down after 10 mins it looked like Arsenal were once again choking and our 9 year wait for a trophy would go on but a brilliant Cazorla free kick brought us back into it before a Koscielny equaliser in the 2nd half. Ramsey would win it in extra time (the 1st of 2 times he would score an F.A. Cup final winner for us) and the 9 year wait was over. My top 5 1990 Middlesbrough 4-1 Newcastle It was my first season going to games and this was the final game of the season and we had to win and hope results elsewhere went for us. We did, and they did...nothing better than beating your local rivals to stay up on the final day of the season. 1992 Middlesbrough 4-1 Leeds United We had just been promoted to the Premier League and Leeds had won the league title the season before. Even though they had Eric Cantona on the pitch we absolutely battered them. It was great to see us humble the champions of England. 1996 Middlesbrough 3-3 Liverpool It was the opening day of the 96-97 season. Scorching hot day and what followed was probably the best pure football game i've seen. Absorbing, end to end action. And Fabrizio Ravanelli, our new star signing from Juventus scored a hat-trick on his debut. 1998 Middlesbrough 2-0 Liverpool This was a league cup semi final 2nd leg. We lost at Anfield 1-0 in the first leg but overturned the deficit inside 5 minutes of the 2nd leg to lead 2-1 on aggregate. We held on and made it to Wembley (again!). And to make it better we were playing in the First Division/Championship at the time. 1999 Middlesbrough 1-6 Arsenal Sounds weird to put a game where your team got killed into a list of your favourite matches. But this was the best performance by a team that i've seen live. It got to the point where you weren't angry about getting battered, you simply had to admire what you were watching. It was a privilege to witness the likes of Overmars, Viera. Petit, Anelka and Kanu perform to that standard.

English FA has further suspended all football until April 30. Also has announced the season will be extended indefinitely so once it is safe to do so it will pick up right where it left off. I think it is the right thing to do. Shortening or cancelling opens up cans of worms in terms of promotion, relegation & European qualification. Get the 19/20 season done, then look at where we sit & figure out what 20/21 looks like then.

This season must be completed.
If they have to trim next season, I recommend scrapping replays for the domestic cups (and the two legged LC semis) and having a straight up knockout tournament in the EL and CL with one legged ties, and the semis at neutral venues.

Yep all that is good. Depending on when they are able to play they might need to have a reduced league season. Maybe a one off do a EPL North & EPL South both with ten teams. That means 18 games, then have the top five from each go into a premiers league where they all play once & have a relegation league with the other 10 that also play once. That would be a 27 game season as opposed to 38. That's just an idea that I was spitballing with my boss today. I'm sure the FA have people working on all contingencies.

I think the African Cup will get shifted and now the Olympics has moved, there won’t be any reason to release players for those competitions. I’d drop the League Cup, and excuse any teams in Europe from the FA Cup if they choose. Drop the Worlds Club championship (not saying that just because Liverpool are no longer going to be in it) and Super Cup. If there’s then still time needed, cut half a dozen or so games from the domestic league. They can draw names out of a hat to see which teams you’ll only play once.

All English football below National League level has been cancelled, with no promotion and relegation. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52052351The longer this pandemic goes on the more likely either this season or next will have to be scrapped.

If they do void the season, it will be one of the biggest miscarriages of justice in English football.

I would rather this season continued and next season is shorter. This season shouldn’t count for nothing.

If they do void the season, it will be one of the biggest miscarriages of justice in English football. At the very least, they should crown Liverpool the champion if they do. Their lead before all this was insurmountable.

The equipment manager for Rio Grande Valley Toros FC is very dangerous at Rocket League from what I've seen in the USL eCup.

Disgusted with the Liverpool owners right now. They’ve furloughed some staff there. Not as if they can’t afford to pay them in full instead of furloughing.

Just hope footballers are using their wages wisely and donating them as much as they possibly can. There is no reason that they are still on full wages.

Liverpool would have played Man City today. I’m assuming Liverpool would have already won the title but you never know.

Liverpool have come to their senses and reversed the decision to furlough some staff. Happy with the decision, not happy with the decision they made in the first bloody place.

And I know us here aren’t the type of people who would. But anyone who sent a nasty tweet/post/message about Pep Guardiola’s mother dying, you are a c***.

Good to see Kenny Dalglish out of hospital.
Former Chelsea & England goalkeeper Peter Bonetti has died though it appears not to be Coronavirus related.

Spurs have reversed their decision to furlough some non-playing staff. Yes, it took them long enough but they’ve finally done the right thing.

Good news for Newcastle: Mike Ashley has finally agreed on a deal to sell the club.
Bad news for Newcastle: the bulk of the money being put up for the club has come from the investment group headed by Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
