As written in the All Out thread, after making a (IMO) very impressive wrestling commentary debut at Fyter Fest, Goldenboy signs a contract with AEW and joins the already broad announcer team the company’s set up.
He might not be a full time commentator with his Overwatch, Halo and Call of Duty commitments but a new voice in the booth is appreciated.

Good for him.

He is pretty good,I enjoyed him very much.
But what are they going to do with all these commentators? A Battle Royale for the most dominant one?

It seems like they're really looking to push hard into the FGC and eSports crossover.
Though, with Kenny in the fold, that's not too surprising.

Bold speculation on my end but I think they're going to spread them out across shows depending on who they can get. I'd say the consistent is JR and Excaliber being the main two but if they want to keep the third seat, they have the option of Tony if he's free from MLW commitments, Goldenboy if he's free from eSports commitments or Alex Marvez. Keeps the announce team fresh with potentially different voices and perspectives for different shows.

Probably this I think people forget that Marvez will be pretty busy now that the NFL season has started as he is one of NFL Radio's top guys. Plus Tony also has baseball commitments so you'll see the third guy rotate a lot

They have a lot of commentators.
JR Tony Schiavone Excalibur Golden Boy Alex Marvez
Maybe they're going to swap out commentators between hour one and hour two? Or There'll be a TV/Buy In team and a PPV Team?
