This is awesome news. Glad to see such an insanely talented performer (and apparently a really nice guy) get his due on their platform.

Surprising since I don’t think he ever worked a match for WWE. I don’t know a whole lot about him so I’m happy to see s doc about him. I hope they do more of these on some forgotten stars

Well, that's unexpected but I'm down for it.

Underrated as f*** if I'm honest. I'm stoked for this.

British wrestling legend, known for being a great flamboyant (ie "gay") heel. In America, spent some time working for the Fullers in CCW.

It will be interesting to see how they handle the way he was presented by the promotions he worked for back then. Like, will it be an entire documentary about the concept of doing a heel gay gimmick 30 years ago?

Thatcher tried out some unorthodox methods for breaking the strikes, didn't she?

So I presume/hope Rico will be one of the talking heads interviews for this?

This is tremendous. He came a little before I started watching wrestling so I never got to see him. I'm very interested in this doc!

I hope they do more of these on some forgotten stars The only work he ever did for WWE was coming in for a few days to help train Rico in a few of his mannerisms. This is going to be interesting, as WWE has very few of the tape libraries where Street was a major presence. They have Florida and Mid-South, but not the Memphis, British or Texas All-Star runs. I hope it includes pristine versions of all of his music videos, since he owned the rights to the songs.

good documentary but its only 20 mins long.....im getting the vibe he'll be in the HOF next year I wonder if the way Joseph Cohen was inducted to the Legacy Wing while still alive they might go that route with living 70's Territory stars they consider Hall Of Fame worthy but don't want to actually give them a 15-20 minute speech with their induction.

This, and the piece on the Bret Hart/Tom Magee match, is the kind of stuff WWE Network should be focused on. Documentaries that are short (20 to 30 minutes in length) about superstars, matches, or events that are relatively obscure to wrestling fans. Even the most ardent wrestling fans would probably have a hard time identifying Adrian Street, so short films like this can do a lot in terms of exposing today's fan to those from a bygone era.
